With Brit-Pop fans in mourning over the split of Girls Aloud, the group’s lead and only singer Nadine Coyle has spoken up and out about their disbanding.
Expected by many to echo the soppy sentiments in yesterday’s break-up statement, Coyle’s first words as an ex-member of the Pop outfit are pleasantly “off-script” and surprisingly frank.

Taking to Twitter this afternoon, the 27 year old wrote:
You should know by now I had no part in any of this split business. I couldn’t stop them. I had the best time & want to keep going. Xxxx

There’s ample irony in the fact that most talented member of the group is the one most eager to continue. In any case, with Girls Aloud now a figment of the past, we sure hope another solo album is in Nadine’s future. For, with the right branding and backing, she (at the very least) has a fairer chance of singular success this time round.

Nadine had a stinkin attitude for years just before she went solo and when she thought she was going to be hot stuff on her own #FAIL she got a rude awakening when her music went triple cardboard. Here is a tip don’t bite the hand that feeds you and i bet if she had even a fraction of success that Cheryl got(even though not deserved) she would of never reunited with the band. Guess the money was drying up.

I disagree, this information is according to who? You? Who are you? I have heard that the others were jealous of the fact that she sang the demos and kept the best parts.
It’s very apparent that Nadine and Sarah were edged out of the group for a while, and to be honest Nadine is nothing like Nicole, i felt her album was better than Nicole’s and the deal wasn’t major like Nicole. Nadine was hated by the media but i feel that she has a second chance.

I Love Nadine, she deserves to be succesful, i disagree that she had a stank attitude she basically is not interested in selling out to be succesful so she declined taking part in reality TV shows as she feels that has nothing to do with being an artist. She doidn’t expect her album to be massive she released it herself through her own independent label and she wrote and produced the whole album!
Nadine ahs everything it takes to be a great solo artist, she needs a collabo with a rapper on an 8 Bar to launch her as a solo act and then the worlds her oyster

Nadine is the realest Girl aloud. She knows that they are the lucky ones being able to get paid to make music. All of the solo albums are so different how can you compare them! Real pop music officianatos know who GA are and the rest of you don’t know shit! so keep your mouths shut until theres a post about Riri! since you love her so much!
