Fresh from signalling ‘The Beginning’, John Legend has unleashed official new single ‘Who Do We Think We Are’.
The Rick Ross assisted cut is the lead release from the Grammy winner’s fourth studio album ‘Love In The Future’, which is due on June 25th.
So what are you waiting for? Take a listen to new John Legend after the jump…
Yes, yes, and yes!
Soulful, flavoursome, yet commercial, this is the brand and strand of R&B that can still make a mark on a mass scale. Great track, great single.
This is nothing special SAM, this could be another Alicia Keys song, the typical R&B song, like Dorian Grey said: you see progress, i see decadence.
@S******
hun,RnB has never been your thing so you honestly didn’t expect to be impressed…& alicia keys makes great RNB music btw
I like R&B.
But you think everything is special with Justin Timberlake. -_-
JT is special not everything with him.
@S****** Blonde no lmao no he really isn’t special….maybe cuz he has a lot of money, is white and makes soul/r&b music, and is attractive (to you) he is special. I think otherwise tho. His music is mediocre (in my subjective taste) and he is quite overrated. Crazy how ppl think he is MJ or the Beatles of music. Far from it.
I DON’T CONSIDERED HIM TO BE MJ or THE BEATLES but among the male singer in the music industry right now, he is my favorite.
Sounds sooooooooooo great! Go good music! You can make it!
This song is AMAZING,John Legend is in his own league…HOWEVER,I don’t know the purpose of Rick Ross on this song…it could’ve done better with Kanye or Ludacris verse or just Legend on his own
I dont understand what these artist see in Rick Ross??!!!
All the damn time !!!
He’s not all that
I can’t see anything. His fat is in the way!
Honestly, it’s just….ok. I know he doesn’t wanna be stuck in the “Get Lifted” box, but it’s just…meehhh. Good vocal nonethless….
“Get lifted” box. Lmao. Nothing wrong with that it’s better than telling women to drop it low, get on the stripper poles, and do drugs.
I like the song: its not like OMG, BUT it is nice!
This is a good song but I hate Rick Ross.
And ppl that keep saying R&B sounds the same, I agree to some extent that some of the r&b these days seems to sound more hiphop than just classic soulful material. People like Trey songz, I admit, I can’t stand him because of the uninspiring lyrics and boring constant talk about s**. But there are some artists out there who still have creative melodies. (Chrisette Michele, Jazmine Sullivan, Miguel, Janelle Monae) A lot of what you hear these days is cornball music and forgettable but I think the ppl who are not big fans of r&b will say it all sounds the same. But ppl never say the same about country music, rock sounding the same and those genres sell more than R&B. It has to do with taste. If someone is a fan of the r&b/soul genre more than likely the music will have a deeper connection with them than someone who doesn’t.
Points off for Rick Ross being there. I’m tired of these R&B singers being too cowardly to release a song w/o a rapper attached.
It’s a nice R&B song.
YES YES YES!
This is what I’ve been waiting on from John since Ordinary People.
Just like Ciara, Sorry and Body Party were what I was waiting on since she released Evolution
good music ist just good music. PERIOD
john legend and rick nice soulful song we need more music like this with little rappin in it
