I really want to love Nicole…but she just never has a proper direction…At this stage in her career she should NOT be releasing hella basic, rubbish songs like Booomerang. If she were smart, then her music would sound sultry and intimate and carry a more urban flair with ”world-music” and bhangra-esque influences. But unfortunately hos don’t know whats good for them!!
As a sidenote, I can’t stand listening to the guy interviewing her. Improper English accents are soooooo irritating. It sounds like his mouth is full of hot rice when he’s speaking:/

Nicole is a beautiful woman, but sorry–I just don’t see it happening for her. So many failed attempts at a solo career. She doesn’t have “IT”. Her voice isn’t distinctive, she’s not interesting, and she doesn’t seem to know who she is as an artist. She works best in a group setting, even if she does most of the singing. She should go into acting, hosting & entrepreneurship because singing…..nahhhh. The public just isn’t interested in her. Nice interview though!

Do your pop/dance songs & a few slow tempos that show of your vocals, cus you can sing (not that she is reading but I’m venting).

Sam you brought it with those questions but that boomerang one was almost genius because she actually ALMOST gave you an honest answer of how she feels about the project, but she quickly switched it up to maintain positivity (understandable).

Nicole just wasn’t cut out to be a solo act. Being pretty and talented is no guarantee of success. I’m surprised she’s still signed to her label and is being given more chances to under-perform. I think anyone else in her position would’ve been dropped by now.

I have loved many of Nicole’s songs both solo and with PCD. She’s awesome but I honestly think her last name is too hard to spell and has hampered her success. I remember trying to search for her song on iTunes and couldn’t spell her name the first few times … others might’ve given up whereas I persisted.
