After inking a deal with Toskan & Angelo’s ‘MAC‘ to launch her own lipstick – Riri Woo- the entertainer celebrated the news that the product has sold out…three hours after it became available for purchase.
A testament to the power her brand holds away from the stage, the deal sees the company and its mother Estee Lauder score their latest celebrity backed sales spike, after Rapper Nicki Minaj saw her MAC Viva Glam lipstick become the highest selling product in the said range.

With successes like this in mind, it’s no wonder the performer stays atop of her label’s food chain when it comes to pushing her material.
For, while her album sales are a little underwhelming for someone with as many #1 singles as she has, her arrangement with Def Jam/Roc Nation sees them continue to make serious bank with every venture she soars in.
In turn, giving her more coins to play with come album release time to ensure she is afforded all the luxuries she needs to come out on top…or at least try to.
Here’s hoping her closest- and far more talented- contemporaries make moves to brand themselves successfully outside of music, as to ensure the funds and positive press keep rolling in when their album and single sales don’t.

Minaj didn’t have a whole collection. She had a lipstick for the viva glam campaign which is a charity. Rihanna is the first to have an entire collection and the rest of it comes out later in summer and into the fall
