As his own mainstream star continues to rise, EPIC rapper Future has shared his thoughts on the stars that are Rihanna and Ciara– and the supposed animosity between the LA Reid driven pair.
All the details below…
In an interview that features as part of his July 2013 ‘Source‘ spread, the vocalist opened up on his ‘Love Song’ duet with Rihanna and how he feels her feud with his girlfriend (Ciara) has affected the push behind it.
He revealed:
“We never shot a video, we never performed it. I don’t know whether it was because of that situation or if just the time hasn’t come up.”
His comments come after the second war of the words the ladies engaged in publicly, when the ‘No Love Allowed’ singer shared this snap of herself watching the ‘Body Party’ singer perform the cut for the very first time.
All but confirming that they were mocking the performance, Rihanna and her best friend Melissa Forde went on to slam their rival’s fan base here, despite Ciara issuing nothing but ‘prayers’ in response to their remarks.
All this, months before the Grammy winning belle led an exclusive Google Hangout session with That Grape Juice.Net in support of her self-titled new album, due out July 9th.

Ok if that’s your opinion. For me, Madonna’s voice is very cute, sensitive and emotional (Secret, Don’t Cry For Me Argentina). And in my opinion Janet is not a better singer than Madonna. Where are her Grammys for vocal performance if she is better? Madonna has 1 (for entire album), Janet has 0. Her singing voice is almost non existent, that’s more whispering than singing She certainly doesn’t have more vocal talent than Madonna. And don’t tell me Janet didn’t need controversial videos/performances to be noticed (her nipple incident is probably the most memorable moment of her career). Both of them are more visual artists than singers, people don’t expect vocal slayage from them, they want something innovative, entertaining, something that’s focused on stage working.
Tbh most of my friends don’t even know about Janet’s music, they probably know her as a sister of MJ and that’s it. She doesn’t have big pop classics like Madonna does – Like a Virgin, Like a Prayer, Vogue, Frozen, Human Nature etc. etc. Sorry, at least it’s like that where I live. Janet is a non factor in pop music here. On the other hand, Michael and Madonna are considered King/Queen of Pop and their music is everywhere.
And not you calling Madonna hits cheap when Mariah has stupid songs like Obsessed (worse than any Madonna’s song)/It’s Like That/Touch My Body.
