Joining D.B Weiss‘ ‘Game of Thrones’ and Shonda Rhimes‘ ‘Scandal‘ is scoring nominations, Beyonce has seen electric Halftime Show nab three nods at the show’s 65th ceremony.

Outstanding Special Class – Short-Format Live-Action Entertainment Programs
Outstanding Lighting Design/Lighting Direction For A Variety Special
Outstanding Technical Direction, Camerawork, Video Control For A Miniseries, Movie Or A Special
Executive produced by Ricky Kirshner and Steve Bornstein, the performance’s nominations see her stand as the only musician (male or female) to be recognised in the aforementioned categories and comes after it drew in 104 million viewers upon its live February 3rd airing.
In doing this, it became the second highest rated Super Bowl Halftime Show outing of all time- second only to Madonna’s stint at the event one year before, alongside ‘Sunshowers’ mc MIA and ‘Catch Me‘ Rapper Nicki Minaj.
The 65th Primetime Emmy Awards will air live on September 22nd, only on Nancy Tellem‘s CBS.
