Published: Wednesday 10th Jul 2013 by Sam

With the September 30th release of Justin Timberlake‘s sequel to ‘The 20/20 Experience’ drawing ever-nearer, the Pop titan has sprung a surprise on fans by unwrapping a new promotional video.

In quirky JT style, the singer recaps the timeline of the ’20/20′ series thus far, before going on to reveal the title of Part 2’s lead single.

So what are you waiting for? All the details await after the jump…

As per the vid below, it is now confirmed that the first offering from the hotly anticipated set will be ‘Take BackThe Night’ – which can be heard playing in the background. Although, as you’ll see, there are limits to how much the 32-year-old is willing to share for now…

Certified double Platinum within two months of release, Part 1 of the ‘Experience’ set the bar oh so high, will Part 2 follow suit?

Sounds very Off the Wall/ 70’s. Or just Blurred Lines. #SwaggerJacker

This mother f***** is the biggest copycat ever. He is trying to imitate Robin Thicke, John Legend, Michael Jackson, Harry Connick Jr. and Michael Buble. Get your own identity loser.

      • Ish July 10, 2013

I Love me some Michael Buble, but seriously? How can you even bring him up in your argument. The man is clearly HEAVILY influenced by Frank Sinatra and others. Who do you think Robin Thicke is getting inspiration from? He is not creating something that has never been done before. Justin has been releasing this type of music since his debut release – mostly because he worked with Pharell (who Robin is now working with). I LOVE Robin Thicke, but please don’t act like Justin wants or needs to imitate someone that quite simply isn’t even on the same level OVERALL.

The wax in between your ears is legendary. This sounds nothing like Blurred Lines. At this point I see people are just throwing Robin Thicke references out just because.

  2. #Beautiful July 10, 2013

#Epic I love him soooo much! If he continues… he may be considered the Modern Day King of Pop! No one’s competing with him!

    • Mark111 July 10, 2013

King? Ha! Prince of Pop? Most def.

      • #Beautiful July 10, 2013

I said “Modern Day”… If he continues on this path… What other male artists is as creative and doing what he’s doing right now! Michael is the king overall but JT is doing pretty well for himself!

      • Mark111 July 10, 2013

Bruno Mars has been at it. Usher been doing it a few decades. Chris Brown is a roach that won’t die. Beiber has what it takes to shoot up. This gen, there’s isn’t ONe guy or girl that is killing it to be called King or Queen. I think to be called that, you have to have your own lane. So Alicia Keys can call herself a Queen, cause no one is or has done the type of music or style that she has. But hey, that’s just my opinion. I see what you’re saying tho, but he’s isn’t the only ONE that’s doing it.

  3. S**** SWALLOWER July 10, 2013

    Bruno Mars >>>>> JT
    Robin Thick >>>>> JT

    • Mark111 July 10, 2013

That’s because Mars and Thinke are the real deal and JT is a pop star wanting to so real so bad to the point that it’s cheesy. I like him, but he’s as pop and commercial as it’s gets.

    • Toto July 10, 2013

#Truth Bruno Mars is the real deal. Way better than Justin Timbersuck

    • Ish July 10, 2013

Justin Timberlakes writes most of his music, plays multiple instruments, does his vocal arrangements, produces, dances, and can sing his ass off. I love all of those guys, but lets be honest… You’re crazy if you believe Justin Timberlake is not the real deal. There is a reason he is a POP STAR that has maintained to be relevant. BRUNO MARS is a POP STAR no matter how you try to slice it. And there is a reason for his success as well.

    • ADC143 July 10, 2013

Yeah, I really take the assertions of whose the better pop star seriously from someone who calls themselves “S**** Swallower.” LOL

      The bottom line is that

JT’s success/star power/album sales >>>>>> Bruno Mars and Robin Thicke.

      Anything else?

    • Po July 10, 2013

  5. Paris Hilton July 10, 2013

    Justin Timberfake sucks!!

  6. Betty boop July 10, 2013

    Tunnel vision tho…

  7. christinastherealtalent July 10, 2013

Some of yall need to get over yourselves. Justin is not copying anybody and doesnt need to. He has been out far longer than some of the artists you claim he copying. Yall just mad because it took your faves nearly 10 years into this game to earn equal success that Justin earned between FSLS and this new era.

  8. S****** Blonde July 10, 2013

    Sighs….

  9. KELLY WINS July 10, 2013

    FROM BILLBOARD.COM

In non-Jay-Z news, next week’s No. 2 album should be Ciara’s new self-titled album. It will likely bow in the runner-up slot with around 50,000 to 60,000 sold. That’s a significantly larger start than her last album. 2010’s “Basic Instinct” arrived at a lowly No. 44 in the thick of the Christmas shopping season, selling 37,000 in its first week. It fell off the chart after only eight weeks, and has sold 116,000 to date.

  10. DanYiel Teflon July 10, 2013

I like some of J.Timberlakes music not a fan Whole Heartedly but omg it happens a lot of stars copy stars!!

  11. Dev July 10, 2013

How underwhelming! I can almost hear Pharrell singing the demo

  12. dee July 10, 2013

    Its sounds very mediocre!

  13. BEE HIVE July 10, 2013

    he so ugly now,, next

  14. ENOUGH ONIKA (KMART QUEEN) July 10, 2013

Huh…sorry Justin, I’ll have to pass….again. I guess I’ll always have FSLS, back when your music was good…

  15. CS9 July 10, 2013

    Heh.

I wonder how much he’ll smash first week again? Wonder if he’ll go 2x platinum in 4 weeks time, while the rest of your faves struggle for over 6 months to sell a million copies (if they’re lucky). Robin Thicke’s album is out at the end of this month. I wonder if his will do 1/2 of what 20/20 has.

    See you at Billboard.

  16. MovieAmi July 10, 2013

You know so good and well that Justin is going to end up outselling everybody again, right? The more people talk s*** about him, the bigger his success ultimately becomes. Bruno and Robin may as well look to each other for competition, because when all is said and done neither are real competition for Justin. At this point, he’s like the male version of Adele…JT is basically just competing with himself. No one else is powerful enough to truly rival him.

    The power.
