What she said on the Disney star?

Find out below…

In a recent interview arranged to promote her #1 single ‘Royals’, the teen sensation shared:

lorde, young man, the whole point of feminism is expressive freedom for women. your statement contradicts feminism and puts selena in a box, so why dont you shut your mouth and go on about your business.
    what a silly faux-intellectual teenager.

I find it funny everyone else’s broke hatin ass is allowed to have an opinion on this blog but Lorde can’t. I don’t care about what the song says but Selena is talentless….but in a way I’m glad Miley is outshining her now.

To everyone going in on lorde just cuz she has one hit, stfu cunties. Selena has no singing or dancing capacity, only reason she got a top ten hit is because the song wasn’t meant for her in the first place. It was meant for rihanna. Lorde shits all over her musically and vocally,so yeah, she has every right to talk. END OF

No one gives a f*** about Floplena!! It’s Lordes 16 year old pretentious ass that we’re tired of. She needs to humble herself and get some life experience before she blabs on and on about her so called “feminism”. Maybe her and Jaden Smith should hang out. Two annoying brats.

      • BEYHIVE_MINAJ September 28, 2013

I didn’t trace any cockiness vibe in her statement. Her music is actually good, compared to what her generation releases. And yes,I know that no one cares about SLOWlena. My comment was just my take on why I feel lorde is right. But she shouldn’t star feeling herself.

Lorde should think about these artist she’s been slamming (ie Lana , Selena) because she does not want to end up like a slightly more successful Azealia Banks

  12. LET’S BE REAL (LORD, LORDE IRKS ME) September 28, 2013

This b**** again? Girl quit answering questions about other artists.Feminism is just that.women expressing how they want to.look at Madonna, Janet etc. They are REAL FEMINIST but jot afraid of feminine sexuality! Being a feminist doesn’t make u aa nun or w.e. this girl is young and thinks she’s Susan B Anthony. Have a damn seat.

    • richard September 28, 2013

Expressing yourself doesn’t automatically make you a feminist. If a woman expresses herself by staying with an abusive husband, that’s definitely not feminism. If a woman expresses herself by taking drugs, that’s definitely not feminism.

The marketing of female sexuality is sluttiness, not feminism.

  13. Dismiss these h*** September 28, 2013

Urrrmmm….Dorgive me but who the f*** is Lorde…and who does she think is is to be
Coming in slamming and judging people?? I’m not exactly keen on Selena but
What Selena sings about is Selena’s business…same with what this s**** said about
Lana del ray….Lana is singing from Lanas point of view…she ain’t singing for Lorde
Or anyone else….so my advice to Lorde is be grateful for having a successful “single”
But you better shut your ass down before you get yourself in trouble.

      Lana is manufactured. She’s fake.

  14. LORDE WHO NOW?? September 28, 2013

So she’s a feminist…but shes saying that women should have urges enough to say “come and get it” or “i will wait a million years”….AND shes slamming women constantly…YES LORDE YOU SEEM TO BE DOING WOMEN A GREAT JUSTICE ARENT YOU…? 1. Your song “Royals” doesn’t even make f****** sense 2. You are 16 years old with what I can tell not alot of sense in your head 3. The women your slamming may not be perfect humans but they are entitled to sing and write from their individual perspectives without you trying to class and restrain their output. ALSO WHO IS LORDE WHEN SHES AT HOME ANYWAY???

  15. Unapologetic September 28, 2013

What a stupid ungeatful h**.Selena performed Royals and gave her more expousure within her fans and that b**** is tryin to judge her. H** just begun and she already said alot of s***, dont get too cocky lorde.

LORDE IS RIGHT ABOUT SELENA, AND SELENA SOUNDS LIKE A DYING CAT, NO ONE ASKED THAT B**** TO COVER ROYALS. LORDE SAYS WHAT SHE THINKS, SHES NOT 2 FACE LIKE MOST TEENAGERS THESE DAYS. SELENA DOESNT EVEN WRITE HER OWN SONGS, AND USE GREAT TALENTED MUSICIANS A.K.A SELENATORS CALLING LORDE A ONE HIT WONDER? HAHAHA PFTT LETS SEE U GET NUMBER 1. PURE HEROINE WILL FLY SKY HIGH ALREADY NUMBER 1 IN MULTIPLE COUNTRIES ONLY BEEN OUT FOR A DAY. WE’LL SEE LORDE KILLIN IT F*** USE ALL, U CAN STFU AND GO WATCH WIZARDS OF WAVERLEY PLACE! While I agree with her, it’s not okay to publically slam your counterparts and fellow female singers. If you’re a feminist, support your fellow FEMALE entertainers. Men already don’t respect them, at least respect one another. Lorde is feeling herself a bit too much. You haven’t really done huge things all over outside your homeland besides “Royals” so don’t get too big headed yet. One hit under her belt and she’s suddenly got an opinion on everyone and everything. Girl, you’re 16. Grow up first and sell some records first. When you’re around for as long as Lana and Selena and have actually sold some records, let’s see how much you know then. Not to mention, images change all the time so let’s see how long this indie hipster feminist thing sticks. Look at Miley and who she used to be at Lorde’s age. Girl bye.

Dead at this sloth looking b**** having one EXTREMELY local hit and thinking she can come for everyone in the name of “feminism.” Makes sense that she came for my fave too, since white feminists are the only group of pressed dykes that still come for Lana’s image and imagery like it’s still January 2012.
This b**** has one song that people care about, one EP, and her album doesn’t come out here until next week. At least most accomplish at least HALF of that before they come for other, more successful artists.
Her song is nothing but the next “Somebody That I Used To Know,” except it won’t even sell or accomplish half of what that song did for Gotye looking at its worldwide iTunes positions.

PNG images work best. JPG comes out as blurry.

Lana is as gross as Selena. They both stink. Auto Tune and lip-synching are not uncommon amongst female pop acts.

      • IM A FREE B*TCH September 28, 2013

lol Lana doesnt even use auto tune. if they both stink, tell me why are both of them so much bigger an renowned worldwide? at this stage of, Lana was already huge worldwide off Video Games which only chartted at 91 btw. Lorde has a top 3 single and yet so many ppl dont know who she is

Lorde needs to shut up and stop judging other people music artists who is she to judge. Lorde is a one hit wonder. Selena Gomez has amazing songs better then hers. Lorde with her song Royals isn’t that great. There is nothing wrong with Selena Gomez song Come & Get it. Selena Gomez was expressing how she felt in the song.

I think Lorde is jealous because Selena Gomez song Come & Get it song was more successful then her song. If some of you guys haven’t listen to Selena Gomez last song that she had needs to go rewatch it on youtube.

As a gay guy, I hate Selena Gomez. She’s very disrespectful to women. Same for Britney. I hate both of them. Also, I’ve never seen Selena or Britney march in a gay rights parade.

  33. richard September 28, 2013

A lot of female pop singers today embrace the sleazy straight guy fantasy by pretending to be bisexual and wearing very little clothing. This is definitely NOT empowering to women.

Selena is a product, not a person. She’s a worse singer than Britney.

As a gay man, I am so sick of Selena, Britney, Rihanna and Lady Gaga. These b****** are repulsive and have the same marketing strategy. They are fake feminists. They do NOT empower women at all. All they do is put money into their personal back accounts.

Go away, girls. We gay guys are sick of you. You are in our faces all the time.

I love lordes music I really do and I also love the song come and get it. However I think lorde is soooo pretentious! She wants to be this indie hipster yet goes on how much she loves rap music and Kanye! But her satirical social commentary on the shallowness of the music industry in royals is the epitome of most rap culture? Like so many of jay z and Kanye songs talk about cristal and patrone and completely promote a materialistic life. So isn’t she a hypocrite? Then how she says come and get it is anti feminist? I think women are allowed to express themselves sexually just like men do! LOrdes still a 16 year old virgin- nothing wrong with that I just don’t think she knows what she’s talking about. I mean she said she thinks Miley Cyrus and Nicky minaj are really important to music, yet these two are the most exploitive of their sexuality ( I let him play with my p**** then lick it off with his fingers) are lyrics from high school! Lorde is an amazing musician I will Buy her album but she’s way too pretentious and ignorant and doesn’t make sense! I don’t think she’s genuine
