New Song: Shakira – ‘Empire’

Shakira Empire 2014 New Song: Shakira Empire

With the release of Shakira‘s new self-titled album drawing nearer, the Colombian beauty builds heightened buzz with the roll-out of new promo song ‘Empire’.

The anthemic cut follows official single ‘Can’t Remember To Forget You (ft. Rihanna)’, which folk ironically forget quite quickly.

Can this new number re-rev up interest ahead of the LP’s March 25th release? You decide after the jump…

I love it. It’s kind of a big departure from all of her previous efforts.

Probably the same people which helped Waka Waka become a worldwide would. And a lot of fans of Shakira, including me, would rather prefer she didn’t get involved with a trashy singer.

Personality Wise, I like Shakira. @ slayriah… At least we can say that Christina did better coaching than Mariah when they are both in a reality show.
I like Britney and overall (sales wise she did better than Xtina) however Xtina had multiple 1′s, grammy and greater debut sales (1st week) on her Debut Era. Britney is a Legend and so is Christina, inspiring most of the singer now. End of story.

I absolutely love it! Shakira is a beast though, musically. Her concepts and her originality! She doesn’t care either, she puts out what she thinks is dope. I love it!

See? Much better with just Shakira displaying her talent, without Rihanna, a political move that didn´t even work. Shakira´s voice is weird and I know many people don´t like it, but she has a voice, unlike others. Also songwriting skills and unique style. Her best work keeps being the pre mega hit that was her first English album. Her Spanish material before debuting in English is her best.
@stephy I agree, those two are not legends.

Sit ur ass down! Did Rihanna got those 100 millions views for that Pour it up video in such a short time?? NO. And she is is wearing less clothes in that video…so, Can’t remember to forget actually got those millions in less than two weeks thanks to both Shakira and Rihanna. And let me remind that Shakira is the second most popular singer on facebook, right behind Rihanna. Ur fave has never looked so classy in a steamy video. Thanks to Shakira of course.
