On September 23rd, Jennifer Hudson‘s third studio album ‘JHUD’ will strut into stores.
Preceded by singles ‘I Can’t Describe’ and ‘Walk It Out’, the set boasts production from the likes of Timbaland and Pharrell Williams. One of cuts the latter cooked up for the Grammy and Oscar winner is new number ‘He Ain’t Goin’ Nowhere’ – which Hudson previewed in snippet form today. Interestingly, the track (which is available to buy when one pre-orders the LP) features it chick Iggy Azalea.

Eww why is Iggy working with this flop.
Why only 10 tracks though? I’ve heard 4 of the tracks already “I Can’t Describe (The Way I Feel)”, “Walk It Out”, “Its Your World” & “Dangerous”, so why would I want to buy an album, just to hear the other 6 tracks? Ugh, this album just feels like a rush job. Can’t wait to see the sale figures!!!!!!!!
ughhhhh i want to see her doing well on the charts, but her stuff always sounds so… dated.
She’s on the same label as Tinashe but the difference is unlike Jennifer, Tinashe has “Loyal Fans” while Jennifer is at the point of her career were people (like me) do love her but won’t buy her stuff because of the materials she’s been putting out, that isn’t really intriguing. So far, I like “I Can’t Describe” and “Dangerous.” 🙂

I feel bad for Jennifer because the desperation of her team for this album is obvious now. Iggy Azalea? Really? So sad. But Jennifer has no one to blame but herself for picking such generic material for her albums which is why she is forced to sing “And I Am Telling You” at every performance. It’s great she has an Oscar and Grammy but that’s no excuse to not work on your craft. The only difference between now and then is that she’s some how managed to get louder. Her music is so generic and her videos all seemed forced. She won’t take singing lessons, dancing lessons, or acting lessons (all of which she needs) but looks surprised that her brand isn’t flourishing in the ways she wants. I can’t recall an artist squandering so much potential and genuine good will but she’s managed to and because so her album will flop.
she is not beyonce , peiople like her powerful voice but aren’t interesed in her music which is nothing special.
