Nick Jonas and Tinashe are wasting no time hitting the promo trail for their remix to ‘Jealous’.

The duo opened up today’s episode of BET’s 106 & Park with a crowd-pleasing live offering of the track which was unleashed earlier this week.

With the original having hit #27 on the Billboard Hot 100 and its new incarnation garnering ample play on radio, the performance could easily provide an added boost to the track’s trajectory ahed of the release of its housing album – Jonas’ self-titled debut (due November 11th).

In any case, peep the performance below…

Solid!

Ok, I’m sick of these pop singers jacking r&b/soul/urban sound. Nick, what happen to being a “rock star”? Oh that’s right, that genre is dead. All of them like Miley, JT,Jesse McCartney, was pop as pop get, and to have an edge, they try to come over here. So played out.

Tinashe sounded great. 2 On will be her biggest mistake, that song makes her look like another non singing light skin girl clinging to the latest hip hop sound. Her hitting her falsettos reminded me of Aaliyah. Now I see it (a lil bit).

For once I agree with you smh this dude started in a rock band with his brothers now all of a sudden he’s singing r&b its coming off so unauthentic

      • Mark111 November 5, 2014

I’m a HUGE fan of R&B. Not pop, but R&B and I am sick of “artist” using it as a stepping stone, a tool to cross over and/or a tool to give these t*** pop stars EDGE. And that goes for these White artist, rappers and other R&B singers that use it to gain success and then go pop. (Beyonce and Usher).

I guess NO THOUGHT went into the fact that when the guy started out he was with his brothers and probably had a bunch of Execs telling them – this is the market we want to put you in. BECAUSE WE ALL GROW into adults; that maybe Nick has found his own “niche” outside of the “jonas”….I mean other cultures can have soul to..FOH.

  2. Molly November 5, 2014

Nick Jonas is such a try hard wannabe & Tinashe will jump at any opportunity! #Next

    • #TeamTinashe Stan “Aquarius” In Stores November 5, 2014

Yeah just like how Ciara jumped at the opportunity of getting boned by a newly hot rapper (2013) named Future…….

      • I love to get ‘2 On’ November 6, 2014

And that didn’t even make Ci-error’s flop album a success, with her sacked tits from getting sucked by both future and her baby.

      • I love to get ‘2 On’ November 6, 2014

And that didn’t even make Ci-error’s flop album a success, with her sagged tits from getting sucked by both future and her baby.

    I like it!

  4. BeyRihLiyah November 5, 2014

so shes promoting his single instead of Aquarius? im mad because she is letting one of the best albums on 2014 go to waist

    • TheElusiveLamb November 5, 2014

      I agree.

  5. TheElusiveLamb November 5, 2014

She should be promoting her own album. Aquarius is my third favorite album that came out this year alone. Jonas is a cute guy, but who really? R&B/Urban music is your genre now? O.k. TBH though, those magazine pics came and went, so who is going to buy that album?

    • TheElusiveLamb November 5, 2014

      But like really?**

  6. Navy Nick November 5, 2014

U all crazy; who cares how he started (I’m sure it was forced anyway).., this boy’s voice is amazing & soulful, let him do what he feels. U don’t like it, keep moving, this mix was everything, as I already play the original every morning before work!! I’m loving this dude… Tina lshe verse was cute too!!!!

    • NOLIES November 5, 2014

NOTHING is soulful about this little f****’s voice. Justina Bopper has almost a better voice than this whigger. Tinashe needs to worry about promoting her own flop instead of giving Molly the Jolly Bandwagon teases. A flop who can’t sing and a f** who thinks his already done, already seen magazine pics are going to give him a career…. DELUSIONAL.

  7. trina alsina November 5, 2014

Love the remix they sound great together

  8. coolness November 5, 2014

Oh, I never actually bothered to listen to the original song by Nick so this is really my first of time of hearing him sing anything outside the Jonas Brothers. I don’t use his voice at all and his falsetto’is quite grating tbh. Tinashe actually sounded better than he did therefore making it quite obvious to me that this R&B/Pop lane he’s tryna pursue doesn’t suit him. And she should be out promoting her album because it’s honestly one of the most solid bodies of work that have been put out this year. ANYWAY, I wish both of them the best.

  9. CzarM November 5, 2014

Stop giving corny pop stars ‘hood passes’ just because they did one song with a minimalistic urban beat that features a cameo by some desperate rapper. This s*** has been happening more and more frequently over the past year or so and it’s irritating. A cheesy ass Jonas brother on 106 & Park is a joke. Seriously, what the f***?! This is like modern day Pat Boone reworking one of Little Richard’s songs.

  10. LMAO November 5, 2014

Really now? Nick Jonas on BET….106 & Park. What the f****** f***…and why the f*** is Tinashe promoting his album when her’s just came out and only sold like 17,000 in the 1st week? Especially since it was one of the most solid albums of the year…I swear this music game is f*****.

  11. Michael November 5, 2014

lol.. you guys are being so close-minded! I will never understand why people can’t appreciate artists that evolve into new styles/genres. If you watch the interview, Nick says that it was important for him to tap into his soul/R&B influences, which he was NOT able to do with his brothers. If you don’t like him or his music, that’s fine, but don’t bash an artist for exploring new sounds.

    • Oh, so we doing this today? November 6, 2014

      Shut up! FAAG!

  12. NiCKI WILL SLAY November 6, 2014

The record labels promoting these white artists over black artists in RNB is ticking me off too.

i was watchiing VH1 plus videos and I saw Jonas, Sam Smith singing soul but they didnt play ONE black artist during the entire hour.

So why are Nick and Iggy going on BET when John Legend, Jermiah, and Tinashe can’t get played on the VH1 TV station.

  13. Indie November 6, 2014

I LOVED IT!!! This version deserves to go toni.1 that performance was solid! I can dig him now that he is helping promote Tinashe as well, she deserves she’s VERY talented!

  14. S****** Blonde November 6, 2014

These comments are so racist, like really, have you ever seen white people complaining about Tina, Prince, Lenny and Jimy Hendrix making Rock music?, i don’t even like the guy but the whole argument of white people singing urban songs to stay relevant is ridiculous, if it wasn’t for white people, in this day & age, R&B will be dead for half of the world population, and one last thing, the Jonas weren’t a Rock band, they infused a pop rock sound to their horrible music, not everything with a guitar, is Rock.

    • Indie November 6, 2014

No you have not because ROCK MUSIC was actually invented by Blacks and then white art it started doing it, they were the only people getting played on commercial radio doing it, and it eventually got seen as there music and this is why Black people are angry cos they do not want the same thing happening to R&B!

I’m not into racism, and i have no problem with any race performing R&B Music, however I am sick of black artist being ignored and not supported by mainstream radio, award shows for a style of music that they created but you will promote and push a white artist doing Black music, its not right! As i said, don’t get it twisted i have nothing against white artist doing R&B but the industry needs to support the people wh created it and stop trying to wipe them out!

      • S****** Blonde November 6, 2014

Blacks didn’t invented Rock music, Rock came from Rock n’ Roll which is a mix of various type of music (including Country music/ AKA: White music), so no, both black and white people helped to create Rock n’ Roll, Rock happened thanks to white musicians who abandoned the messy sound of Rock n’ Roll to a more experimental and melody sound. Do you really think is white people’s fault, if black artist are not supported, do we have to feel guilty for have a more appealing/considered better skin tone, no, black people needs to stop blaming us for everything, it’s not our fault if we sing your music genre and do better, simply as that.

  15. Indie November 6, 2014

More appealing better skin tone!!! Well this conversation is done cos clearly I’m speaking to a racist and a FOOL! Keep lying to yourself about ya skin tone and where Rock N Roll originated from!

    • S****** Blonde November 6, 2014

I expected this conversation to end like this, do you read what i said, it’s a fact that fair skin is considered better, i didn’t say it is better, isn’t that the reason why white artists gets support and blacks don’t. Btw, Rock n’ Roll wasn’t invented by a single race, do you know how many elements and different sounds Rock n’ Roll has?, there’s clearly a bunch of fusion in there, if blacks created it then they take a lot from Country music, you see, no originality there, all things come from something else.

  16. SoSlutty November 6, 2014

    I’d swallow his ***

  17. Fancy BISH November 6, 2014

Ya’ll make sure Nick got enough WALLS when he in your city, cause when shawty swing my way he’s getting SERVED lol 😉 Great performance, get dem Calvins Tinashe 😉

  18. Dustin November 6, 2014

His falsetto holds up better live than I thought it would. It’s a dope song so haters are just doing what they do. I really have been trying with Tinashe but I just can’t. Most of the time she sings like she popped a Xanax and it’s kicking in. She has more vocal energy this time but her runs at the end were a hot mess. And the look on her face the whole time read, “I’m KILLING this!”
