Ciara is playing approximately no games with her chart comeback.
Having spent much of this year enjoying motherhood, the electrifying performer is gearing up for a return to the spotlight in 2015. And, as reported, she’s assembled an all-star cast of talent to help her craft her album, the follow-up to 2013’s self-titled set.
Taking to Instagram this week, Super Ci shared snaps of herself in the studio with Epic Records label-head L.A Reid and hitmaker Dr. Luke (whose stellar credits include Britney Spears, Katy Perry, and Pink). The caption attached read:

Yes! Flop 4 is coming! But on the real, you guys slept on FR, the album felt all over the place only because it was suppose to be a 3 disc work of art. I don’t know why she never release her pop songs.

It sucks that she couldn’t get a great team behind her, we could be having a whole different conversation had she gotten that. It boggles my mind that even when she was on top she wasn’t performing at every big award show or established herself as a touring act. A great team would also get her better material because after her 1st album her songs haven’t been as great collectively, Evolution had great slow and mid tempo songs but the uptempo tracks that should have been her best were lackluster. FR was all over the place and they should have went with her initial idea and had a better roll out for the album. Basic Instinct should have never happend, and self titled was outdated.

Yea that was a all around full type album. Ppl and fans are so into Stan wars its hard for other ppl to shine. Stan wars is koo but when it get to the point whr a artist could lose a career its to detrimental. For example us fans have jobs or need to Wrk but when ppl try and get us fired then its a ppl. To me its life or death.

LOVE CiCi! but she needs to hook back up with Jazze pha, her earlier works was HER sound, and really went well with her impeccable dance moves and background. Dr. luke’s sound are more for the likes of the britneys, pinks, and other pop gals.

So ready for this new album! I don’t care if it’s Pop or R&B. Ciara always delivers good, quality music. I don’t see why y’all constantly shade her. What has she done to deserve all this hate?
