Gwen Stefani is to launch a brand spanking new world tour this year, teaming up with her manger Irving Azoff to put the live show together before the release of her forthcoming new album!

Good news below…

In a recent interview with ‘Hits Daily Double‘, Azoff spilled:

Clearly, we are in the performing-rights business; we’re in the management business. On the management side—we don’t release figures to rags likeBillboard or HITS or Pollstar—but Fleetwood Mac and the Eagles have phenomenal numbers. It’s insane how big these tours are. We had banner years with the Eagles and Fleetwood Mac; Steely Dan had its biggest year; Boston had its biggest year. Both Jennifer Hudson and Earth, Wind & Fire are out there killing. We’re currently putting together a Gwen Stefani tour. Christina, depending on her commitments to The Voice, is getting ready.

News of the tour may reignite interest in Stefani’s forthcoming album which has seen all of its singles fail to crack the ‘Hot 100’s Top 40.

News of the tour comes eight years after the launch of her latest stage show ‘The Sweet Escape Tour’ which generated $50 million for the No Doubt frontwoman.

Lol at Azoff calling Billboard a ¨rag¨. Clearly their relevancy is on its last legs.

What happened to all of the people who said that she and Fergie were going to slay? Hmmm. With that being said, I enjoy Gwen…mostly for her style, but I enjoy her nevertheless.

I would go. I’ve seen Gwen live, and while she isn’t a vocalist, she’s a fun entertainer. She has hits.
