I actually went to the last tour, and I could see it in her face how hard she was trying to keep up with her back up dancers. She’s 50+ years old though, so honestly, it’s understandable. Cher, Tina Turner, and etc all have said how difficult it was to perform at an older age.

Janet had heavy heavy competition that was considered very worthy Beyonce not so much, but both Women are in a league of there own a please don’t say or add well Beyonce has more Money than Janet. Well that’s not the case because Janet is a very private individual and she doesn’t flaunt her wealth like new money celebrities( you know the ones who constantly brag about what they have and how much they can show off.) Only thing we know about Janet’s wealth and what forbes has is her signing bonuses from Virgin Records where she once was the top diva and music seller for that label just like she was top diva at A&M Records. But in reality she actually possess much greater success then Beyonce and it all happen when she was in her early 20’s with the start of her third album Control and definitely her fourth with Rhythmn Nation where she created a movement. So both ladies have there own but Janet was the first to do what many in music try to do in today’s generation.
Bey hasn’t surpassed Janet, but I personally think she’s not so far beneath her as everyone makes it seem. Janet has so many significant records (Bey does as well).
