I agree. Nathan is in a different lane. I actually think he’s much more soulful sounding, oddly enough 😉 I didn’t love the song when I heard it before but this video totally did the trick . I’m rooting for him.
Wow. I never heard of Nathan prior to this post, but he sounds amazing. He’ll definitely surpass Bruno Mars in popularity in due time–not that Bruno is nearly as popular as he was ~2 years ago, anyway. But, again, this guy sounds great! He’s voice is rich and soulful, and his range is commendable–I like how he can go pretty high without sounding feminine; all he needs is more exposure–and a better stylist–and then he’ll be on his way to superstardom in no time.

That was really weak. First, one is born with talent. He clearly was (as evidenced by his vocals) which would indicate that it’s not a learned action, it’s more of a cultivated thing. When one tries to learn to have a “talent” we end up with vocals akin to Ciara’s (and this coming from someone who actually “sometimes” enjoys a ciara tune). Now if we’re trying to get him to do some matrix like dance moves, Ciara would be the first to call, but this kid is a singer 😉

Sigh Nathan Sykes from The Wanted BODIES solo Nathan Sykes this song fits nowhere in the market. The whole video I got JT tease like why this seems like it wants to be suit and tie so bad. His voice is amazing the range is slaying the tone is a little throaty and guttural the song was just lacking and the horns where not helping. He should have followed Ariana’s formula and sampled a 90s song and threw a rapper on it for buzz then did what he wanted on his debut album. I was expecting so much but am completely underwhelmed better luck next time.
But . . . I really like the song.
