For the last two weeks, the Bajan star has been “unlocking” doors as part of the LP’s ANTIdiary.com roll-out.
And while some of her Navy are fully tuned in, others have lost interest citing the complicated and convoluted nature of the campaign. One former fan even tweeted “girl, quit making us play “Where’s Waldo‘ and just drop the album already.”
Sentiments such as these come as industry insiders reveal less than stellar first week sales for the project in the US.

This revelation means that no other act with a scheduled of possible December release will challenge Adele for the rest of the year—not Coldplay, whose 12/4 release is projecting to just under 200k at presstime, roughly 450k south of Adele’s projection for the week. Not Rihanna —if this were a conventional physical/digital rollout, handicappers think it would debut with 150k. Beyonce has managed to get all her albums over the 3million mark and even without a #1 hit. She has vocals for day’s and is argued as the best voice in pop music today. She dances and gives stage presence that no other pop act can touch today. Whether beyonce sells 30 million albums or 2 her tours still sell out and people race to watch her perform live! She is the WHOLE PACKAGE!!!

Please elaborate on what you mean? All Rihanna’s albums haven it sold 3m or more. She’s only been relevant since 2007. The world paid her dust for her first 2 albums. She doesn’t have vocals for days. She doesn’t really dance and when she does it’s half assed and lazy. She does carry herself well on a stage (her attitude is what carries her). I don’t think she is even remotely praised as being one of the greatest entertainers alive? Maybe one of the best acts of her generation. But even than i have seen a ton of bad reviews on her live performances. I was entertained for Rock In Rio tho no lie. She does show alot of potential at times (2010 AMA performance, We Found Love grammy performance, Itunes performance of BBHMM and SNL performance of Stay). But she is lazy and seems to take what she is blessed with for granted. Plus she is arrogant AF! Coming for my fav in 2013 and self proclaiming she owned 2013. Bitxh got put in her place! Beyonce owned 2013!

I find it hilarious you brush off beyonces album sales and praise Taylor’s. Beyonces first 3 albums sold well for R&B DIL 10 million, B’Day 7 million and IASF 7 million. Taylors album’s have all sold 8 million with exception of 1 selling 9 million or closing in on that 10 million mark. Besides that Taylor is LOCAL!!! 40 Million albums sold and 27 million of those are sold right here in the states. Leaving only 13 million elsewhere. At least Rihanna and Bey have sold half in the US and the other half outside. Its okay sweetie. I was blind at one point by the industy to. Okay, so hear me out for two seconds. I too am itching for all of the music that the ANTI era promises and I have been since 5ever. Initially when I walked through the AntiDiaRy stages, they made absolutely no sense to me and I just thought that Rih was being unnecessarily artsy and it was just a big mess. The AntiDiaRy is literally Rih’s life story and it’s beautifully dark and absolutely genius. Her transformation from Robyn to Rihanna, the music industry having full control over her, her transformation from a Good Girl Gone Bad to the struggle of bringing her ex lover into this new era with her. Everything is so artistically done and it’s a pure masterpiece. When you truly read into it and understand all the pieces to the puzzle, it’s by far the deepest and most personal project that she’s ever done. It almost makes the long wait for the album worth it.
Adele outsold Self-titled TOTAL SALES in one week. That’s the real kiii.
Even has Taylor outsold Beyoncé. Don’t come up with the R&B excuse or the racial one because a good album always finds its way.
