Keyshia Cole Signs With Beyonce’s Record Label?

Keyshia Cole‘s love life has been attracting more headlines than her music of late (see: allegedly egging ex Bow Wow’s car).

Yet, it appears, she’s still focussed on her career.

For, she took to Instagram to tease a major move – one that is sure to have tongues wagging.

Details below…

Over the weekend, the R&B belle posted the following snap – lending many to believe she has inked a new deal with Sony’s Columbia Records – home to Beyonce and Adele.

If indeed true, the deal would be consistent with Cole’s claims that a worthwhile major label offer has seen her do away with her indie plans.

As reported, the songbird (who has three Platinum selling albums to her name) departed longtime label Interscope after the dire performance of her 2014 effort ‘Point Of No Return.’ At the time, she claimed she wanted to go it alone, but clearly that’s changed.

What do you think; if Cole really is the latest addition to the Columbia roster, is she capable of a comeback?

Reading this title, i thought Keyshia was signed to Parkwood. I was gagging for a sec.

    • Ohpippy March 14, 2016

Bey does not see it for Keyshia…don’t do that! ?

  3. Jamon March 14, 2016

By reading the title, I thought Beyonce had her own label. The title should read, “Keyshia Cole signs with Columbia records”

    • Jamon March 14, 2016

      *record label

Wait when did his hair get that long? Men and weave is a no no…. I’m giving you the side ? Blake…..

Well good for her if this is true. I’m not with one time major artists going independent after they leave their former major labels following dismiss sales of their last few albums. That’s embarrassing. All major (or former major) artists should be backed by a major label.

That being said, this could still turn out like Ciara at Epic or Kelly at Republic. I wish Keyshia would reconnect with Ron Fair. He was the guy who “got” her and knew how to promote her and her music. Soon as he left the picture, everything went south.

    • TfYM March 14, 2016

She is back with Ron Fair.

  6. ???Chile, leave my weave at the door and don’t steal it like those broke ass barb stans??? March 14, 2016

Wow! I never saw this coming. She’s gonna have a major comeback. Her most recent album isn’t even all that bad, though.

I like Keyshia Cole. She’s talented and has a lot to offer. I just think she needs to refine certain unnecessary aspects of her personality to move forward. The betrayed, neck-rolling, angry black woman thing is old. I want her to embrace a more relaxed, down-to-earth, user friendly stance. When she blamed one of her albums flopping because her fans didn’t like that she wasn’t as “mad” on it as she had been before, I was thinking “what?!” Why does she think she has to always play the bitter card in order to produce good work?

columbia is a major label will they even sign this basic? epic , def jam, island amd roc nation can take her

    • Walker March 14, 2016

Um. Epic, Def Jam, Island and even Roc Nation are “major labels” too. If she’s not good enough for Columbia, I don’t see why she would be good enough for Epic…which is its sister.

  9. MUSICHEAD March 14, 2016

Keyshia will be fine. She just needs to record good music again. Her last two albums sucked. But people forget, Keyshia got hits for days. Should’ve Cheated, Let It Go, Should’ve Let U Go, Love, I Remember, Heaven Sent, Changed My Mind, Trust etc. She’s the less refined version of Monica.

  10. Usual Observer March 14, 2016

Right! Ppl seem to forget that Keyshia was THAT CHICK in R&B at one point. I hope she gets it together. She needs an Emancipation of Mimi type revival.

  11. Kitty Puurrzz March 14, 2016

Im not gonna come on this post & act like Keyshia Cole’s 1st 2 albums didn’t SLAY!

  12. Truth March 14, 2016

I’m still pissed at the way MTV was snubbing her in the late 2000s. At the time, Keyshia had had like 3 back to back platinum albums, and even scored a top 10 POP hit with “Let It Go,” but apparently still that wasn’t good enough for the racist VMAs to acknowledge her. They gave her some BS rationalization about how she didn’t “fit” their demographic, despite how successful she had been.

Good. Maybe she and other artists can shine once Baphomet Knowles leaves Columbia Records and go serve her s**** master husband Jay Z, but then again, Adele is taking all the attention and resources @ Columbia from it. ?

    • XoMoDe March 14, 2016

I feel so bad for your batshit crazy mother that the abortion doctor she went to when she found out she was pregnant with your idiotass wouldn’t accept her Bridge card. Now you’re another flea she’s stuck with. Poor her.

      • XoMoDe March 14, 2016

Translation = “I’m going to type ‘LMFAOOO’ and pointless post some link (that the other person isn’t bothering to click) in order to try and divert attention away from I couldn’t clap back with a real response.”

It’s okay, baby. I understand that you only have two braincells (and one of them is too affected from all the crack smoke to collaborate with the other) and therefore couldn’t come with something better than that. Don’t be pathetic all your life, though. The next person you get clowned by may not be as sympathetic as I am…

  14. danica85 March 14, 2016

I hope keyshia find balance she’s a daring person with a beautiful voice i think she will be ok yes she got great hits sometimes when artist try to go independent they loose the essence of who they are and what they trying to portrait im rooting for her and ciara

  15. Tran anti no honey love time but it okay girl March 14, 2016

Title misleading and beyonce have her own record label and Sony is a evil label for keyshia Cole if she do sign to that record label it won’t do no good
