Its always called a buzz single when it flops. This song would’ve failed even if she did release it officially just like all the other official singles she’s released post ’08.
Singles charts do matter, only people who aren’t successful on them think otherwise. The only reason she can now downplay her failures on the charts is because she can AFFORD to, she has a rapport now, a huge fan base. If it was ’03 the label would’ve lost interest and it would most definately not fund her music/visual/movie albums (or whatever obfuscation title she uses to dignify her poor musical output) a long time ago.
