Worst opening ever with August’s struggle whiny vocals!!! His tone is so grating to me. Miguel’s easily the best vocalist of the bunch but he was underwhelming. I can’t believe I’m saying this but Trey verse was the most listen-able. I see CB is trying to milk this single for all it’s worth. Well played Bhris but these ‘remixes’ so far have not been cute.
He needs to stop remixing this tired a$$ song and hop along to a long term behavioral health facility.
Furthermore, I’m shocked that Miguel would even get on this track with these dusty struggles. At least he has some artistry and not just a plug-n-play r&b clone

Well hands down, the first remix with Usher and Zayn is the best. I hope all the other R&B heads step up with their remix. This is so fun and good for R&B. Secondly, this remix is good. August part was cool, not his best vocals but cool. I loved the Alicia Keyes opening he did. And his lyrics was nice.

Miguel, .. …. his swagger in the way he sings has changed so much. I really don’t like it. But I loved what he was saying. He spit that sh!t. Lyrically the best verse on this remix is his. But his vocals, Im still getting use to. He sings nothing like his first album now. But I guess that growth. I guess.

Trey. NOT his best lyrics by FAR. Lyrics or vocals. I don’t know if he’s smoking too much or drinking heavy, whatever but it’s taking a slightly noticeable tole. But he did good, I just expect more seeing as he is the veteran on that track.
If you don’t mind me asking, how is exactly are Miguel’s singing and Trey’s voice different compared to a few years ago? I’m not really good at detecting such things. Tbh, vocally, this remix was not it, lmao!
Lol. Remember Miguels first joints? ” All I want is you”, “Do You” “Quickie” even his “How many drinks” joint and a few others from that era. He was singing like he had to pay bills. And LIVE, his vocals were so strong, epic. I loved it. Now he just sort of went slightly “Rock”I guess? He still singing but it’s just different to me now. I love his coffee and waves joint tho. But this era and his first era is like comparing night and day. But it’s cool because it seems like a lot of people like it. I just have to get use to it I guess.

Now Trey, it just sounded like he didn’t even want to sing on here lol. His last album he really sang on in my opinion was his “PPP” album. All I can say is check out that and anything before hand. Compare it to this and you’d be like smh.
