Kelly Rowland‘s new girl-group June’s Diary continue to prove their vocal gravitas.
The quintet – who were pieced together on BET’s ‘Chasing Destiny’ – performed at Ludacris’ LudaDay Weekend Basketball Game today.
Together they tackled ‘Life Every Voice and Sing’ – which is more commonly known as the ‘Black American National Anthem.’
How did they do? The answer awaits below…
Sensational!
The harmonies were textbook tight and the blend was sublime.
Bring on that EP already, JD!

wow impressed! now they need some good songs aswell
Slay
Whenever that EP comes out I’m sure it will have some slayage that has been missing for a good while…I live for this group!!!
They need choreography! Ashley & Gabby betta get wit it! It takes more than just being able to sing! Kelly n Frank both know this but still havent done anything about it!
Girl give them time…They just came out, that’s why most people are over Lady Gaga and soon Fifth Harmony because they had such a quick build up to impress the gays. Nothing else to look forward to. Kelly knows exactly what she is doing!
FANTASTIC!!!!!
Vocal beasts and they have the look aesthetically. WIN! Kelly, in the words of Mama Ru, “don’t f*ck it up!”
I don’t often comment here but I had to do it this time. YAS! COME THRU WITH THOSE VOCALS! It’s refreshing to sing a group who is made from girls who can actually SING.
ok
I didn’t think it was great. Maybe I’m hearing something different than everyone else.
I agree. It was very rough.
You wouldn’t know much until Ciara harmonize like this and have vocal control.
Shut up bitter h**, you keep hating under every post? are you obsessed with them or what?
Don’t be mad at me because their blend was struggley. Kii.
I agree,
They can sing but this wasn’t that impressive.
I’ll just wait for Little Mix to go full R&B to be slayed
Mariah could not dance that good either, but her vocal ability made up for it. If they could do keep up the with
dance moves of En-vogue. I am sure that Frank has them in
somebody’s dance studio. This is a very good rendition of
the Black National Anthem. I can wait to hear that EP too.
They were using minor vocals with sharps and flats! The ear that they have is phenomenal.
Awesome. But also a powerful message to have sang this instead of the star spangled banner.
? thats some REAL FIRE ???
Good one. I like.
Gabby’s voice!!! Speaks to my soul!!
Awesome
