Rihanna Covers Harper’s Bazaar / New Music Soon?

Published: Wednesday 8th Feb 2017 by Sam

Cop a gander of Rihanna!

The Bajan belle turns blonde bombshell on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar’s 150th Anniversary issue.

Having kept a relatively low profile of late while shooting ‘Ocean’s 8,’ one has to wonder whether the cover is tied in with new material.

Because, as is customary for Rih, her appearances are often well-syncronized affairs. We’re hearing things. But what do you want to see from Ms. Fenty in 2017?

Your thoughts?

Glad she’s sticking to what she’s good at. Rather see her on magazines than be forced to hear her terrible vocals and bad dancing. #streamqueen

I know it’s been a while since she’s done it but she makes really epic pop music witch is why she has so many number1s.

No one is forcing you to listen to her music. Just turn off the radio and pop in your Beyoncé CD dear. I understand Beyoncé isn’t on the radio but there are plenty other avenues you can enjoy her music.

To bad that “excitement” doesn’t translate into album sales or tour ticket sales.

Yet, “LOUD” is the best selling album released by a Black Female this decade.

        .

The “Talk That Talk” and “Unapologetic” eras were bigger than the “BEYONCE” and “Lemonade” eras.

        .

She has several hits of which are more memorable than any song Beyonce has released this decade in both recurrent sales and streams. We Found Love alone is in third place for song of the decade thus far, the highest for a female.

        .

The only comparison that can be made between the two is LEMONADE and ANTI, the latter of which is the biggest female era of 2016. The former only outsold the latter in pure album sales.

        .

Of course you’d break your heels running in here… LMAO.

Me personally, I want more of that trap puss patting music from Rih but I guess everyone evolves. Look at Pink’s ole sellout azzz, she gave us an album full of hoof cuts and left us behind. But I love Rih and Pink.

Work, Panda, Needed Me, One Dance etc. Were all non pop songs that were top 10 on bb100 and all dominated radio. Pop is really not that hot anymore tbh. I wouldn’t be mad if Rihanna had a reggae or urban smash coming!

Pink wasn’t a sellout. Get your facts straight. She made her first album because SHE WAS CONTRACTUALLY obligated to do that. She was signed and that was the specific style she was signed for. Not her usual pop rock stomping grounds. On her second album she was given more creative freedom and decided to do the music she wanted to do and has been doing for years. There is no sellout there.Taylor swift and her genre switch. That’s a sellout. Making the music of another genre just for hits and to be played when it’s not your norm, that is a sellout.

      • The Legend Called Missy Elliott 👸🏾 February 8, 2017

B**** f*** off. She was a sellout. She did a whole MTV special about her coming to Philadelphia sing RNB music and how they talked about her RNB roots. Stfu you know nothing

      • BummbleLambslay February 8, 2017

ok rat, you right, she is a sellout. I love when an idiot is educated on something they know nothing about. provide the receipts dear or you shut the f*** up. When the special was shot was it still during her 1st album or was it after. Cause to further educate your dumb ass, i remember her EXPLICITLY calling out LA Reid in her sophomore album talking about, and i quote “LA TOLD ME YOU WILL BE A POP STAR ALL YOU HAVE TO CHANGE IS EVERYTHING YOU ARE” Sit back you little child. I am NOT the one and before you open your mouth with a name like the legend called missy elliott (a has been struggling to get a hit since 2004) to speak about music, do YOUR research.

Should you provide receipts then i will GLADLY admit I was wrong in my statement. But i have yet to see where you went shopping for your info. Maybe it’s an alternative fact? I can think of the diary of P!nk on Mtv. Nothing else really. Where did said facts come from?

The Trap Urban vibe from her was nice but I want some pop music from her this time around. She was never all one type of music genre so I would like some pop music, it doesn’t need to be EDM just something I can dance to like her song PLEASE DONT STOP THE MUSIC!

  10. JuJu February 8, 2017

Sadly I don’t think we’ll get one and that is one the songs I have come to love from ANTi. Me and my best friend are not real big fans of Rihanna but when were at work and Needed Me or Love On The Brain came on the radio, IT WAS DONE.

We need a video for LOTB! & I can’t wait for her to release new music (which probably won’t be until late this year / early 2018) I like Rih in the urban lane. Pop is so played out. Urban music need to take its crown back for being the mainstream genre.

For new music, I want Rih to have that We Found Love effect again. I think EDM is played out, but a new sound that’s completely fresh that will unite the entire world. Work was a very polarizing song

    I don’t think so

Love on the brain is still rising on the charts with no promo and she needs to release S** with me for spring/summer with a visual..clearly a fan favorite that’s been charting on and off

Queen riri she’s amazing but the anti promo was leading like it was two album then the iamkeyholder hint it was two part then they quickly took it down I wonder why the promo was epic it just didn’t fit with the anti album it self but I love her though just being a honest fan
