Published: Friday 10th Mar 2017 by Rashad

As we reported here, the Ed Sheeran‘s ‘Castle on the Hill’-housing album,‘Divide,’ is set to add yet another Billboard 200-reigning album to his tally of US chart-toppers.

The March 3rd released set, which features one of the year’s biggest hits, ‘Shape of You,’ was already shaping up to see the year’s highest first week sales, but now refreshed indicates it is on track to extend that competitive lead.

Find out by how much inside:

Initially industry analysts tallied ‘Divide’s first week total around the 425,000 mark (SPS), but now that figure expected to land in the 435-445,000 (SPS) range.  As we wait for official word on Sunday (March 12) when Billboard reveals the final figures, buzz around the album implies it is likely Sheeran will even exceed the revised prediction. So are we gonna live one of those weeks where they keep and keep creating hype and inflating so that more and more people are convinced to buy like they did with Justin Timberlake´s last album? Of course the difference being now it is not even possible if it isn´t taking into account streaming. I want to know how many real sales this is going to end being.

Congrats on the success though coz he is mainly about the music, which is always great. I´m not into him though.
