As at writing, the only hit Katy Perry‘s comeback campaign has experienced is against a brick wall.
However, the Pop star is hoping to put that behind her by buckling up for a guest spot on ‘Carpool Karaoke’ with James Corden.
CBS has reportedly confirmed that Perry will feature on ‘The Late Late Show Carpool Karaoke Primetime Special’ on May 22nd.
The slot comes right on time for Katy, who enjoyed only a brief stint in the top 5 of the Hot 100 with ‘Chained To The Rhythm’ while follow-up ‘Bon Appétit’ looks to be bombing altogether.
With an album on the way and no firm launching pad, she’ll need to hit the promotional trail fast and hard.

I think it’s over KP…you’re closer to 40 than 18 and all these weak kitty pop flops aren’t cute anymore. Time to go the Christina route and throw out some accoustic singles here and there, then find a talent show to cling onto for relevancy….
