All roads lead to February 11 for R&B megastar Usher.
As if preparing to headline the Super Bowl halftime show at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas isn’t enough to keep him busy, he’s also hot on the promo trail in support of his new album – ‘Coming Home‘ – which hits digital shelves on February 9.
When not chatting it up with the Associated Press, ‘CBS Sunday Morning,’ and more over the past few days, he turned heads with a sizzling photo shoot for Billboard’s ‘Sports Issue.’

USHER ON WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE HALFTIME SHOW:
“There are special guests. And I’ve considered new songs. But you know, it’s 12 to 15 minutes. So it’s really hard to determine what moment matters more than others, especially with a new song,” he said.
USHER ON GETTING ADVICE FROM PREVIOUS HALFTIME SHOW HEADLINERS:
“I happened to be on a boat not too long ago with Katy Perry, who gave me some notes. I heard that Rihanna stood up for me and said something really incredible,” he relayed.
USHER ON HIS FAVORITE HALFTIME SHOWS:
“I’ve enjoyed Prince, Coldplay, Beyoncé, Bruno Mars, Madonna,” he started. “But the one that really stands out is Michael. He reframed how we look at the Super Bowl live performance.”
USHER ON HAVING ANOTHER VEGAS RESIDENCY:
“I really did enjoy my time in Las Vegas. Am I going to go back, if I ever do, in the same way? No,” he said. “The short of it is, I’ll be back in Vegas someday.”
