New Single: Traci Braxton – ‘Broken Things’ (Featuring Toni Braxton, Towanda Braxton, & Trina Braxton)

Published: Thursday 19th Apr 2018 by Rashad

Traci Braxton is ready for round 2!

The third eldest of the Braxton clan stepped out for her first taste of solo shine with 2014’s ‘Last Call’ (click here to watch) and now – four years after seeing its parent album, ‘Crash & Burn,’ set R&B charts ablaze – is ready to call on fans again for support of the follow-up.

Taking to the hit WeTV series ‘Braxton Family Values’ to tease, “Traybird” teamed up with her legendary, Grammy-award winning sister Toni Braxton (as well as Trina and Towanda) to assist with the first taste of what that follow-up will sound like.

Ready for ‘Broken Things’?  It’s ready for you…inside:

The tune has been officially deemed a “buzz single” and will be soon followed by the sophomore album’s official first release.

I been listening to this for a few weeks now and I just want her to redo her vocals they are not good and leaves this song flat.

Traci’s voice is different than her speaking voice so much so that I think her pitch is always off. I don’t like it. I like Toni’s voice on this song but because it is Traci as lead I vote no sorry.

Nobody cares about your vote, cash register çüñt. Just ring up my merchandise and shut your fûçking mouth whörê!!!

You care Trollmine. If you didn’t care you would not be responding to all of my comments. Stop pretending like you have money to shop. You know the only place you get clothes is from the dumpsters when you go dumpster diving for free clothes and food or when they give out clothes to the homeless at your homeless shelter.

Traci is the Jacky Clark of the Braxton. Her voice is very unique.

    • Tori April 20, 2018

Naw…Traci voice is just odd and awkward at best.

She sounds good & I love this song it’s smooth vocally!! 💯❤️💜💙

This is a good album cut. I am not a fan of releasing buzz singles that do not have the potential to generate buzz. Never evaporate the public’s interest with boring material.

Ahhh Casual, I am definitely biting this quote. Consider it plagiarized. Please and thank you! *wink*

it’s actually pretty decent. you go, traci.

  8. steve April 20, 2018

I love Traci but however I don’t think this is a good buzz single. She has a very solid first album but this right here lacks.

  9. MusicLovah April 23, 2018

I dont know about yall..but this joint is fiyah to me.
Yes she doesn’t have the strongest vocals but the beat, the arrangement, the flow..it works.

There’s an element of boredom that I can’t get past. Nice backing vocals and Traci sounds pretty decent. I’ll use.

    • JC April 24, 2018

Okay, I take that boredom stuff back. Sh!tty laptop speakers were to blame. With a good set of speakers this song sounds really nice. If you think a song sucks and others don’t it’s probably because you’re listening with some garbage.
