Still serving “it” in abundance two decades after delivering her eponymous debut album, R&B songstress Mya is back with the appropriately titled ‘T.K.O.’ Preceded by the bodacious bedroom cuts ‘Ready For Whatever,’ ‘Damage,’ ‘Knock You Out,’ and more, the LP – the follow-up to 2016’s Grammy-nominated ‘Smoove Jones’ – comes as a welcomed and apt entry in the singer’s consistent catalog.

I never pegged her voice as R&B but she really serves it up fresh!!
I’m a yuge Mya fan, and to be honest I was disappointed when I heard the snippets on iTunes. I found it sleepy and repetitive. However, after listening to the entire album on YouTube, this is easily one of my new favorite R&B albums to add to Mya’s catalogue. I admit I was wrong to doubt her in the first place, and that’s why she’s one of my favorite artist of all times! Will be buying and replaying this album!

Meh, its too slow, almost fell asleep before the end. Mya used to be known for her killer dancing, she needs to get back to that.
Talk about versatility. This album is sonically sound. I will admit didn’t like some of the previews but when I bought it I was not dissapointed.
