Mars, who cites Teddy Riley & Janet Jackson as his influences, has earned a sweet $240 million from his sold-out ’24k Magic Tour’ thanks to ticket sales generated by the general public!
With this (and the 2.3 million tickets he’s sold to date), he tops Billboard’s Hot Tours tally before he rakes in even more cash from dates he’s committed to delivering this summer!
This year’s opening Latin jaunt began on Jan. 31 and consisted of three stadium dates in Mexican cities. Monterrey hosted the first concert at Estadio Universitario, and then Mars played a two-night engagement at Mexico City’s Foro Sol stadium on Feb. 2-3. His final show in the country was in Guadalajara at Estadio Akron on Feb. 5. In those three venues, his overall attendance count reached 178,989 with box office revenue topping $15.7 million.
