As if the confirmation that a new album is in the works (as we reported here) wasn’t enough to send fans into a frenzy, Janet Jackson‘s building even more anticipation for the follow-up to 2015’s critically acclaimed ‘Unbreakable’ with a music video shoot.
Set in the streets of New York, Jackson – already hard at work on another leg of her ‘State of the World’ tour – reminded onlookers she still has “it” (and in abundance) as she boogied down with a troop of dancers.

Glad she’s out making music again but I have to say I don’t like this new stylist she has. I feel like they always overstyles her and put too much clothes on her. I understood when she was heavy but she back to her normal size now. Her style needs to be more sleek and clean and less junkie.
I agree. I think the stylist is treading lightly. When you are a stylist dealing with a strong woman that prefers to be covered up all the time (like I used to be) you have have to be brave and push your client to take risks and it will pay off when the client sees the final result (a music video, a magazine shoot, promotional shoot, film work, etc).
He’s an old queen named Robert who also styles Mimi. He loves putting Janet in these mullet dresses/skirts cause they make her look “fierce” according to him…
I agree. It looks like the stylist had several ideas and couldn’t decide, so he said “What the heck” and threw it all together. It looks like a costume gone wrong. None of it even matches.
