New Video: Dinah Jane – ‘Bottled Up (ft. Ty Dolla $ign & Marc E. Bassy)’

Published: Wednesday 7th Nov 2018 by Sam

Dinah Jane is ready for her close up in the official video for debut solo single ‘Bottled Up.’

The melodic jam is the first taste of new material from Fifth Harmony‘s youngest member.

She’s joined by hitmaker Ty Dolla $ign and Marc E. Bassy on the cut, which also dubs as her premiere offering on L.A Reid’s new imprint HitCo.

Peep the colorful clip after the jump…

Dinah delivered vibrance, choreography, sass, and swagger. The 90s aesthetic references made for a great touch too.

The 5H ladies are really hitting hard straight out of the gate.

Kudos!

I mean it’s an alright song… the video was cute too.

I couldn’t watch more than 30 seconds – good for her for trying – but Normani’s performance of ‘Checklist’ and ‘Love Lies’ at the Tidal Concert slayed my expectations. It just feels lazy and like a c-side song, on a demo, sent to a deaf A&R exec, who’s never heard of a hit. IJS….

The best thing about this video is that she shows you how to bounce your underboob to the beat. Beyond this we will call it “the time Tamar Braxton, Justin Timberlake, and Ty $ Sign made a video”…With the exception of Normani can we just go ahead and cancel those 5H girls?

LA Reid’s legacy of signing and producing talent goes from Toni Braxton to this. SMDH

    Nope

Nah, this is literally a 5th harmony song where she’s being the upfront s*** one. This song doesn’t step far away enough from the group for her to be noticed individually and the song is basic but not catchy basic.
Oh, and the dancing was sloppy

cont….If you think that she went from her factor audition to this.
