She’s coming!
As promised earlier this week, Normani took to social media at exactly 1:59p EST on Saturday (March 23) to confirm the delivery of the first single from her long-awaited debut solo album ‘Dopamine.’
And – to the surprise of her beloved fans (affectionately called the #NormaniNation) – the R&B stage-blazer won’t be blazing the new track by her lonesome.

As seen in the clip above, Normani took to Instagram to unveil the title and release date of her next single.
“soo basically my first single 1:59 will be coming out 4/26,” she told her 7.1 million followers on the platform while previewing the song.
Tapping GRAMMY-nominated rapper Gunna to assist, the tune will come as her first as a leading act since ‘Fair‘ stormed R&B charts in 2022.
The news comes just a month after she took to ‘WWD‘ to discuss what fans can expect from the new album overall.
“For me, this upcoming album is not just about music coming out. It feels like a representation of everything I’ve gone through to get to this moment,” Normani said at the time. “I know I needed time, experiences, and space coming out of [Fifth Harmony] in order to become the version of myself I needed to be. Without [all of that], I would not be able to exist within the creative space that I am in now. I would not be able to make the type of music I’m making now.”
At the time of this report she has not revealed what producer is attached to the song and if its April 26 arrival will be accompanied with an official music video.

Although the album doesn’t have an official release date , once this single flops or underperforms for her standards it’ll be pushed back till the end of time. 😂😂😂 Normani be trying to give quiet/mysterious Beyonce vibes and it just doesn’t work for her.
