Beyonce and Jay-Z honored the late, great Nelson Mandela with a hyper hot headlining performance at the 2018 Global Citizen Festival.
The mega-watt couple electrified the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg, South Africa following a packed day of performances from the likes of Usher, Wizkid, Ed Sheeran, Tiwa Savage, and Pharrell.
While only a portion of their showing was broadcast, the pair rocked the house with rousing renditions of hits such as ‘Apesh*t’ and ‘On The Run,’ while Bey soared solo with ‘Halo,’ ‘XO,’ and ‘Perfect’ along with Sheeran.

I Stan for Beyoncé and I knew we were only getting 25 minutes of the show and it would be mostly ON THE RUN II so my expectations were low to begin with, However this will go down as one of her worst performances with the exception of the PERFECT/AVE MARIA & HALO medley. She was low energy even though the crowd was giving her all the energy she needed. Jay was boring with the exception of PARIS. Disappointed as a fan.
She’s a 37 year old mother of three and I doubt that fupa has been great for energy and moving. She’s not 20 anymore guys
Her age and kids are no excuse to the low energy performances she’s putting out there.
JLo is on her 40’s with two kids and she performs like her life depends on it, so do Celine Dion and she’s on her 50’s!

I saw the perfect/halo/ave maria/xo section and while she sounded great and everything was well rehearsed, i have to say it was boring AF. Formation looked a little more exciting (loved the colors) and I want to see the other sections but not if they are the opening of OTR II because I dont like those songs or those from Everything Is Love. I would imagine, though, at this point her focus is elsewhere…
Everybody be expecting too much from this woman. Ya’ll so used to her giving excellent performances that you don’t even realize she still outshines every other artist on the stage on her worst day.
