Looks like Beyonce is just full of surprises today isn’t she?

Earlier today the Grammy winning diva sent fans into a frenzy with news of her inclusion in the 2016 Super Bowl Halftime show.  Now, as viewers of Spike’s hit series ‘Lip Sync Battle’ recently learned, she silenced rumors of her joining actor/dancer Channing Tatum for a high octane, mimed performance of her 2011 hit ‘Run the World.’

The announcement of mega-Brit band Coldplay headlining the 2016 Super Bowl Halftime show was immediately accompanied by rumors of who would be joining them on stage.  And, given the wealth of high profile co-stars on their two decades worth of hits, the task of picking a guest star on “the world’s biggest stage” would prove no easy feat.

But, if the reports flooding in now are to be believed, they’ve selected someone who knows a thing or two about rocking a Super Bowl Halftime show:  Beyonce

Rep: Beyonce Is NOT Tied To ‘Sarah Baartman’ Biopic

Well, that was fast.

As reported here, Grammy winning diva Beyonce was rumored to be hard at work bringing the controversial story of Sarah Baartman, an enslaved South African woman put on display at freakshows in the 1800s, to life in a film.  The rumored project, which would be Bey’s screenwriting debut, would also see her star as the historical figure.

The report was greeted with great backlash from South African dignitaries with one even claiming the songstress was ‘not worthy’ and ‘lacked the basic human dignity’ to play the part!  Ouch!

Beyonce Slammed Over Rumors Of Writing & Starring In Sarah Baartman Biopic

South African Chief Says Singer Is "Arrogant" & "Not Worthy"

“She lacks the basic human dignity to be worthy of writing Sarah’s story, let alone playing the part…- Chief Jean Burgess

The quote above came as quite the sting to the Queen Bey after reports surfaced the singer/songwriter would be making her screenwriting debut with a film about the life of Saartjie (Sarah) Baartman, a South African woman who was put on display at British freakshows in the 1800s because of her large buttocks.

The Grammy winner, who is allegedly set to reignite her acting career with a remake of the 1976 Barbara Streisand classic ‘A Star Is Born,’ also recently made headlines for reportedly planning to write and star in a film about Baartman.  Though met with mixed review, the news found the least favor from Chief Jean Burgess of the First Indigenous Peoples of South Africa.

Watch: Rita Ora Covers Beyonce’s ‘Countdown’


Brit-Pop force Rita Ora sent some festive love in Beyonce‘s direction hours ago when she took on her ‘4′-pulled single ‘Countdown.’

Currently in a legal battle with the singer’s husband’s label Roc Nation the Oscar nominee delivered a fun-filled and lighthearted version of the song with pals before the release of her US debut album.
