Ricky Martin has joined the cast of ‘American Crime Story’!

Martin is to play the lover of the late Gianni Versace‘s in Ryan Murphy’s ‘Versace: American Crime Story.’
The ten-piece project will explore the fashion designer’s murder in July 1997, the moments which led up to it and the mind of the culprit Andrew Cunanan.

Penelope Cruz will portray Donatella Versace (Gianni’s sister) and Martin, a good friend of Murphy’s, will take on the role of Antonio D’Amico.
A premiere date is yet to be set.
