Lady Gaga‘s emotional performance of ‘Dope’ – the latest buzz single from her November 11th due album ‘ArtPop’ – won over fans and critics alike at the 1st annual Youtube Music Awards tonight.

Joining a line up that featured the likes of Eminem, M.I.A., and more, Gaga performance saw her strip down in more ways than one – trading in her normal eye-popping fashions for flannel.

The tear-filled acoustic plea came just a day after the tune made its way to the net – much to fan delight.  Still on the fence if you should add it to your Itunes collection?

Pop starlets Little Mix took a bold strut into divadom tonight on the platform that started it all – The X Factor UK.

The group, who won the 2011 instalment of the show, returned this evening to perform ‘Move’ – the lead single from their hotly anticipated sophomore album ‘Salute’.

Hip Hop loyalists came out to play in NYC yesterday evening, arriving at the Barclays Centre to be wowed by ‘Powerhouse 2013′ and the acts the show called on to perform.

So, one can only imagine their surprise when ‘Save Me’ performer Nicki Minaj made a surprise appearance at the event, joining Meek Mill on stage to rock his set with live servings of some of her more recent verses.

There’s a chill in the air, the days are shorter, and the nights are longer. Which means one thing. Christmas time is nigh!

Pop powerhouse Leona Lewis is helping to spread festive cheer this year with new Holiday album ‘Christmas, With Love’. 

Due December 2nd in the UK and a day later in the US, the set’s official cover was revealed moments ago. Check it out above.

We’re loving it, especially the classic Motown vinyl sleeve look and feel. Even better, we hear it’s deliberate as the LP will feature a Motown-heavy sound. Can’t wait to hear it!

As an act who rose to fame by way of the tool, Lady GaGa is all too familiar with the part the internet plays in crafting and sharing ideas, and introducing the world to the artists behind them.

However, in a new interview given to Berlin’s ‘ProSieben‘, the vocalist has weighed in on the negative impact the advent of photo sharing outlets like Instagram has had on the world art…or at least Joe Public’s perception of what it truly means to be an artist.

Indeed, while the Grammy winner doesn’t knock its impact, she does explain why the attention many of its staples receive from the images they share can never truly compare to the passion and discipline it takes to create material that does more than score ‘Likes’, ‘Followers’ and ‘Fans’.

Kelly Rowland is currently nurturing tomorrow’s talent on FOX’s ‘The X Factor USA’, however that hasn’t halted her own music hustle.

The R&B belle took front, stage, center in Norfolk, Virginia this weekend, rocking the house with tracks including the 2011’s Platinum smash ‘Motivation’, ‘Like This’, and ‘Dirty Laundry‘ – which is lifted from the 32-year-old’s latest studio album ‘Talk A Good Game’.

One month before his pal Chris Brown drops his new LP ‘X‘, R&B royal Trey Songz showcased his oft overlooked live prowess during his set at ‘Powerhouse 2013‘.

Reportedly hard at work on his sixth studio album, the ‘Baggage Claim’ actor’s performance brought with it renditions of his Gold single  ‘2 Reasons’ and its triple Platinum older brother, ‘Bottoms Up‘.

Was he any good? We’re going with ‘yes’.

Lady GaGa may have had a “Pop emergency” of sorts last night, tet, that hasn’t stopped the singer from sticking to the “plan” with her ‘ARTPOP’ campaign.

Set to impact iTunes tomorrow as the last “promo track” to be released prior to the LP’s November 11th arrival, the song was made available for streaming moments ago.

Apt, as Mother Monster will be performing the cut at the 2013 Youtube Music Awards live from New York this evening.
