As previewed here, Ciara shows off her vulnerable side in a touching acoustic performance of her newest single ‘I Bet.’

The first lifted from her sixth album, ‘Jackie’ (named in honor of her mother), the Harmony Samuels-produced tune is currently riding its way to the upper rankings of digital charts as we speak.

To give it a boost along its way, Ci offers a stripped version of the tune which, let us tell it, seems to pack more of an emotional punch than its recorded version.  Get into it below and tell us if you agree:

She may have risen to fame 30 years ago as ‘227’s sassy Sandra Clark, but 2015 is proving that actress Jackee Harry is still just as sassy with or without a script.  Case in point? The Emmy winner’s recent comments on ‘Fallen’ singer Mya.

Ruffling a few feathers this morning after she took to Twitter to urge fans to “save Mya from the pole,” Harry’s comments follow weeks of speculation that the R&B stage blazer has resorted to previewing new music at strip clubs.

Welcome, once again, to TGJ Replay.

Designed much like our ‘Retro Rewind’ and ‘From the Vault’ features, ‘Replay’ is That Grape Juice‘s newest retrospective segment – a written quest, if you will, to re-spin the gems and jams of yesterday.

Unlike its ‘Rewind’ and ‘Vault’ predecessors, ‘Replay’ looks to dust off and showcase entire albums (and eras) from a library of pop and Urban pop music hits.  As this week brought with it the 34th birthday of Grammy-winning R&B superstar Alicia Keys, we thought it time to add her ‘Diary of Alicia Keys’ album to our entries of ‘Replays.’

After successful stints in both 3LW and The Cheetah Girls, Adrienne Bailon‘s career has enjoyed ample longevity – a trait her spot on the panel of talk-show ‘The Real’ is further proving.

However, one thing thing that continues to elude the star is the launch of her solo career.

As an outlet who’ve followed her narrative, we’ve long been waiting for her emergence as a singular force – something which has yet to materialize years after she signed a deal with Def Jam.

All confusion was cleared this week, though, during an emotional episode of The Real.

With tears in her eyes, Bailon bared her reasons, which may surprise some. Watch below…

Keyshia Cole continues to confront conflict among family members in front of and behind the cameras.

For, with barely enough time to celebrate the warm ratings of her newest BET reality venture ‘All In’ (Tuesdays at 10:30/9:30p CST), today the ‘I Ain’t Thru’ singer was thrown into fresh family drama via Instagram for allegedly limiting some of their camera time on the show.

Accused of showing favoritism to members of her biological family over her adoptive, the slamming prompted Keysh to take to IG to lend an apology.

Iggy Azalea is taking to Twitter yet again to defend herself from naysayers who aren’t exactly on board with her brand of hip hop.

For, just days ago, rapper Eve and songstress Jill Scott joined the ranks of a growing list of emcees and entertainers including Q-Tip, J. Cole, Nicki Minaj, Azealia Banks, Eminem, and more, who have expressed displeasure with the Aussie hitmaker’s “blaccent” (Black accent) and overall image.

Their message did not fall on deaf ears, however.  And, despite not singling the ‘With This Ring’ duo out, it’s pretty clear the two were included in Azalea’s mass reminder and defense of her authenticity.

The past two weeks have seen headlines dominated by Brit-hitmaking crooner Sam Smith.

One end of news, excitement continues to grow for his showing at the 2015 Grammys, where his nominations include “Album of the Year.”  Elsewhere, the singer has battled unceremonious slammings from the likes of shock jock Howard Stern who jabbed him with a slew of insults, including calling him  a “fat, ugly motherf*cker.”

But, not even the jeer from Stern has stopped the Smith train from rolling, as evidenced by his first appearance on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine.  Hitting newsstands Friday, the mag is already making news for its content regarding love for Beyonce and Taylor Swift and those “annoying” Adele comparisons, the feature story is also accompanied with an exclusive look behind the scenes of its creation.

Channeling his inner “George Michael,” see videos and more of the action below:
