Rita Ora can be found working the cover of ‘Cosmopolitan USA’ this month, rocking the publication’s December edition in a bid to boost her profile in the market!

Her spread in the mag also comes in aid of her forthcoming role in ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’, the movie pulled from the E.L.James– penned book of the same name, set for release on February 13th 2015.

Having conquered the charts and expanded his empire in the process, Nelly is inviting the masses into his world via his new BET reality series – ‘Nellyville’.

Due to debut on November 25th at 10.30pm ET, the series will chronicle the rapper’s day-to-day life as he juggles his multiple hustles – namely music, family, fashion, and more.

And while an arguably out-of-the-box choice for such a series, it makes for interesting concept – at least from where we’re sitting.

It goes without saying that today’s arrival of the group’s new single ‘Sledgehammer’ signals what is set to be a busy set of months for Normani, Ally, Dinah, Camila, and Lauren. For, with debut album ‘Reflection’ slated to strut into stores during said timeframe, we’ll no doubt be saying a lot of the ladies moving forward.

With record sales of 24 million in the US alone, it’s fair billing christening Usher a music royal.

It’s fitting, then, that the singer covers the newest edition of Billboard magazine wearing a crown. After all, his kingly achievements have established him in the history books and his performance style has been adapted and modified by the likes of Chris Brown and (regardless of current predicament) Justin Timberlake.

And yet, the 36-year old finds himself on tricky terrain these days.

In a trait common to major names in 2014, Mr Raymond seems to be making the transition from releasing diamond-certified albums and near-annual #1 hits to struggling to even land gold certifications.

Indeed, the star’s most recent opus – 2012’s ‘Looking 4 Myself’ – has sold 504,000 Stateside, according to Nielsen SoundScan — 800,000 fewer than the LP prior (2010’s ‘Raymond vs. Raymond’).

And while this Fall was to bring with it his triumphant return, the campaign ‘Good Kisser’ led LP was brought to an abrupt halt and its release bumped to an undisclosed date next year.

Speaking to Billboard, the performer explained his reason for the delay. He also opened up on the waywardness of his mentee Justin Bieber.

Indeed, while other genres may take a playground approach to both, rappers past, present, and future have become well-versed with the semantics of articulation and the battle to be the best at it.

After being labelled “fake” by his Young Money mate Tyga this week, some wondered just how ‘What If I Kissed You’ performer Drake would respond to the diss.

Tomorrow evening, the Iggy Azalea promotional train will pull into the studios of Saturday Night Live.

The fierce femcee will be co-hosting the iconic show with legendary actor Jim Carrey. She’ll also be performing too, offering up the first live rendition of ‘Beg For It’ – the lead single from ‘Reclassified’ (the re-release of her debut album ‘The New Classic’).

To build buzz, the Australian native has dropped a set of hilarious promos.

Ariana Grande has made an undeniable mark this year; and while some industry body’s have opted to look away, the Grammy committee are embracing the singer.

Moments ago, it was announced the ‘Problem’ belter will join the likes of Pharrell Williams, Maroon 5, and Tim McGraw on a special Holiday broadcast christened ‘A Very Grammy Christmas’.

In recent times, Jordin Sparks has made headlines more for her romantic life than her music. And by no fault of her own.

Record label drama has seen the American Idol winner take a hiatus of sorts from the charts and focus instead on what she was able to do freely – act.

Now, with the worst behind her, the 24-year-old is re-affixing her attention on music.

This week saw the vocal powerhouse showcase material from her forthcoming album and we must say that we’re surprised.

Renowned for her markedly Pop skew, Sparks appears to have made a 180º turn and is this time aiming for the clubs.

His latest studio album may be on course to move an unfortunate 65,000 units next week, but we doubt that’ll be enough to rain on T.I‘s hit-making parade.

Partly responsible for the success of Robin Thicke‘s ‘Blurred Lines‘ (on which he appears as a featured act), the rapper has now inked a publishing deal with Sony ATV, heading over to the publishing company after his ‘Fancy’ protege Iggy Azalea did the same earlier this year!
