Contrary to recent rumours, Cassie has not been dropped from Bad Boy. According to Diddy, the ‘Me & U’ singer is currently recording the follow-up to her 2006 self-titled album. Producers drafted in to contribute to the project include Kanye West and Pharrell Williams. The as-yet untitled CD will be released in September.It’s well known that Cassie is lacking on the talent side of things, yet I’m quietly anxious to see what she comes with on this next album. I’m surprised she’s even releasing another album after the last one tanked majorly. Still, the CD had a few good tracks on it including ‘Me & U’ and ‘Long Way 2 Go’.

I disagree with this. I think her first album had quite a few hot beats on it, the only problem was they all had only 1 producer, ryan leslie. She has posted a new song on her website i like the verses a lot but ryan kills the chorus (litterally, in a bad way) with his overuse of that electronic “V” beat. Plus she sings a lot more in it. I think she’s a great dancer, and she’s a good singer. I know she can sing better than most people, even if she ain’t no beyonce or rihanna. She’s pretty much like ciara. I didn’t think ciara could sing at all from her first album, but then when her second album dropped she showed a lot more talent.
