Kelly Rowland Performs ‘Like This’ On Loose Women’

Published: Friday 8th Jun 2007 by Sam

Continuing her promo blitz through Europe, R&B star Kelly Rowland performed ‘Like This’ on Loose Women today. I saw the performance as an improvement over her GMTV performance earlier this week. Her vocals were just as good, if not better, and she moved with a lot more sass. In other Kelly news, her single ‘Like This’ has moved into the top ten on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop chart – sitting at #7.

What did you think of Kelly’s performance?

I couldn’t tell the difference between her and the backup dancers, she blended in with them so well, she has no star quality at all.

Maybe she should bleach her skin like Micheal Jackson so she can stand out more??

Okay I see all these WHACK!!! comments about how she is blending in with the dancers, and she might need to bleach her skin. What does any of that have to do with the performance. The vocal was GREAT to me. And even though “Like This” is not a dance song. She does wat she can with the song, dancing wise. U haters need to get up off her.
    -Kelly doin it.

I can see that the haters are on there jobs as usual, but it’s sad ya’ll don’t get paid for it. Anyways, Kelly did taht shyt. She hit all the right notes and adlibed more so with that being said, Ladies and Gentlemen….KELLY’S BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was the one who made the bleach comment. You misinterpreted what I said. I was responding to the first poster (hater) who said she blended in. Cuz you know only Beyonce gets praise for standing out. She did an excellent job!

Oh, and for the person that couldn’t tell the difference betwen Kelly and her dancers, that statement was so dumb because you knew one of the black persons dancing on stage had to be Kelly because there were only three people and one was white. The person with the microphone would have given me a hint that that was indeed Kelly.**duh**

She needs to hang it up, she does not have star quality sorry

Hmm she def has been workin on her stage prescense which is a good thing but in all honesty she does naturally blend in, i think shes used to that.

However the vocals were very much so dominant and forthcoming, sass and attitude work and though the song isn’t a shake yo ass till you brake yo back track, she doin it nicely…

    Kudos to her.

well apparently you don’t need star quality to make number 7 on the hot 100 – boo hoo for her

That girl is NOT #7 on Hot 100. Try #52. She’s #7 on the R&B charts

The f***? Of course we could tell Kelly was the one with the f****** mic. Her presence was just blah… thats why they said she just faded in with the dancers.

I swear m************ need to pop a xanax and shut the f*** up.

I hate to hate but come on, compared to her performances with destiny’s child, this looks like blah. Its like Mama Knowles and them decided to spend as less money and time on her then Beyonce and them. Looking at this, no one would have realized she was from destiny’s child because this seems like a downgrade. Im a big fan of hers and I will still support her but it looks like their tryna make her 3rd best at everything knowing damn well she got it. She can be soooo much better.

Whoa, some of you guys are harsh as hell. Her performance was decent. I hope her 2nd single will be the banger she needs though. “Like This” is ok, but it’s a single that sounds generic.

Great work, but the dancers looked sooo untrained…

To the person who know so much about where Kelly stands on the charts. She is in fact, #52 on Hot 100, but she’s #7 on Billboard Hip-Hop/R&B Charts, and #1 on both Billboard Hot 100 Single Sales Chart and Billboard Hip-Hop/R&B Sales Chart. NICE PERFORMANCE BY THE WAY KELLS!
