New Song: Blaque – ‘Blue Jeans’

Published: Tuesday 12th Jun 2007 by Sam
After disbanding briefly in 2004, R&B trio Blaque have returned to the music scene. Now signed to Family Over Everything Entertainment/Geffen Records, the ladies are set to release their new album ‘Beauty’ in September. This new song, ‘Blue Jeans’, is slated to feature on the set. If this is any indication of the album’s direction, then I may pass on it. The uptempo club track sounds too generic and doesn’t really go anywhere. I’m hoping the rest of their material is better than this or there may have been no point reuniting.

Hit or Miss?

I like this song. I’m glad that they are coming back even though they didn’t have much success.

Not bad, but it is mad generic…so hopefully they have different sounds on the album.

I Have been keeping up with blaque all of this time.I love this song & cant wait for this album to come out as well as Shamari’s solo album she sent a message to her fans a few months ago telling us that she has started working on her album again.Ofcorse there was a break because her deal with darkchild ended. Now she has a new deal & Brandi has been working on her solo for awhile she made her apperance as the female singer in Nelly’s song “Grillz” with Pall Wall.Natina has been producing her b*** off.Now Blaque is coming back collectively & individually.Oh ya don’t for get to check out Itunes the just officially released the blaque out album with a new song.

I don’t know what song ya’ll listened to, but what I just heard sounded AWFUL!! Come on, ya’ll don’t remember “bring it all to me”? This sounds like 2 different groups! This sh*t is crap. I don’t know what the hell they’re talkin about. They did do 1 thing though- they figured out how to take a overly-busy beat and still make the song boring as hell. BOOOOO!! I will SOOOO not be checking for them.
