Nicole Scherzinger ‘Whatever You Like’ (ft. T.I.) Video

Published: Thursday 16th Aug 2007 by Sam

At long last, the video for Nicole Scherzinger’s debut solo single ‘Whatever You Like’ has premiered. For the record, I like Nicole and definitely believe she has potential – but both the song and video are straight garbage. Nothing about the concept made any sense to me and the one thing she could have done to redeem herself – deliver with the choreography – she didn’t. The T.I. feature didn’t sway me either, although I’m sure their interaction in the vid will have tongues wagging. I expected her to come harder than this, yet so far she has failed to impress.

What do you think of the video?

I couldn’t agree more….the song gives u that feeling of deja vu and the video does the same thing. Ms. Nicole isn’t coming with anything new…..try again boo.

Just because the video doesn’t have a point, that doesn’t mean it’s crap. She’s hot and so is the song so shut up..

This tracks growing on me… I think its a club banger with an addictive beat, yeah nicole’s got potential – more talent compared to the likes of rihanna I agree the video could of had more choreography but i like the dirty grindy feel, its a slow burner but am sure it’ll catch on. i think nicole’s solo project has come way too early however – there has only been 1 PCD album, she should have taken her time. if the album lacks quality she’s gonna get ripped.

I agree, the song sounds a little bit weak on first listen.

But just wait til you hear it in the club! Trust me, it sounds soooo good on a big system with a packed floor of ladies!

This song is starting to gain momentum in New Zealand and Australia. The album will become a big hit as soon as baby love comes out (think Fergie Big girls dont cry).

The video is edgey (in a good way) and probably one of the more interesting videos out. A video of her dancing around would look too PCD in my opinion (and you would have critics saying so). The song and the video has broken her out of the PCD mould perfectly. This has got to be why the record label went with this song and this video.

I like the song and the video. I think they are both hott. Now if you are looking for talent then you have another thing coming, but if you are looking for something catchy and s*** at the same time you got it here.

I love the PCD. I love Nicole, but I can’t express enough how much I hate this song and video. Crap, crap, crap is all I can say. Bad Beyonce ripp-off of her craptastic single, “Ring the Alarm.” This song isn’t even as good as “Ring the Alarm” and I hate that song with a passion. Very sad and disappointing.

i first heard the track b4 she made the video and loved it, but when i saw the video i was disappointed plus whoever showed her those dance moves should be fired cuz i kno she can do better than that. the beat is good tho, so i give her props for that.

well… i have too say, i dnt think she looks good with her hair pulled back and that make up…and why did she go solo if its pretty similar too PCD??? trying too be s*** and showing alot of skin… its all the same. nice chorie… *clears throaght meaningfully*

I think the song is quite good and s***. It’s marked under the LSS category. It’s totally loud and cool like it’s really saying “Hey! Take a look at me!”. This song should be an instant dance hit.

But the video? Sheesh, it’s f****** horrible. Next director, please. I love the choreography at the end and the appearance of Polow and T.I. But most of the video? Garbage.

    It’s a 2 out of 10.
