Alicia Keys – ‘No One’ Video

Published: Tuesday 25th Sep 2007 by Sam

Alicia Keys stopped by BET’s 106 & Park yesterday (September 25th) to premiere the video for her new single ‘No One’. I’m really liking the Justin Francis directed vid; Alicia is looking on-point throughout. In related news, ‘No One’ is making huge leaps on the Billboard Hot 100 chart – jumping from #95-#15 this past week. I was initially kinda wary about the song and the potential of Alicia’s forthcoming album ‘As I Am’, however she seems to be on course for massive success with this project.

What do you think of the video?

NOTHING can ever make me hate this song … I’m so in love with it … but this is one boring ass video. I saw her 106 and she was talking about moods and what not … I’m not feelin’ her mood in the video but I can definitely feel her mood in the song.

Love the song and like the video. The different rooms with the diff looks were all about allowing people to put themselves there and make the lyrics fit to their own situations. That is what she said during her interview on 106. Therefore the lack of a story line. Yet there are a lot of symbols used. Can’t wait for the album.
