Fox News is reporting that Mariah Carey’s much-anticipated new album has been pushed back from December 4th to February 2008. No reason was cited for the delay. Carey’s as yet untitled CD is now slated to feature in a ‘Diva Showdown’ with big releases from both Janet Jackson and Madonna in and around that month. {Source}I’m guessing it makes sense, but all these album push backs are becoming real annoying. Having said that, anyone could have seen this happening a mile away; a December release date with no confirmed title and no single in sight. Oh well, here’s hoping the wait is worthwhile. So…

She has reach an envious place in creativity: she is doing what she wants and she is such a music genius… Janet still under the corporate boicot and Madonna will market like crazy a piece of formulaic crap and will still be seclude to the stage wich is the only relevant thing she still does (for circus fans)

i will be suprised if mariah can top her emancipation…she doesn’t have that hype of having the nervous breakdown and horrible material that was GLITTER and everything after that to her advantage this time…people wanted her to have this COMEBACK and she did and people jumped back on her bandwagon because most thought she was over with…so i don’t know if she will sell that much opening week. janet has that hype going for her now…her last project tanked, the tour was cancelled, her weight has been up and down, the record label change…so people want her to come out of this music slump she was in. madonna has been laying low because that’s always what she does before her cd comes out…you’ll hear about who she has been working with and that’s about it and as soon as that first single hits radio…she is promoting her ass off…
but for all these artists it is still all about promotion…they have hardcore fanbases that if all 3 albums came out on the same day…their fans want them to be number one…so they’ll each buy 10 copies…lol but i am looking forward to janet’s, personally…
