R&B star Ciara was among those who performed in honor of Diana Ross at the Kennedy Center Honors show which aired yesterday on CBS. The 22 year old singer performed a medley of Ross’ classics ‘I’m Coming Out’ and ‘Upside Down’. Not an obvious choice for the tribute, I thought Ciara did pretty well.

it was okay, i mean she doesn’t have great vocals, erykah badu on the bet awards was sooo much better, but they are 2 different leagues soo GO CIARA!

Ci Ci did good, but if u watched the show u will know that her vocals were weak compared to Jordin Sparks, Vanessa Williams, and Yolanda Adams ( who tore the house down)….but atleast her performance was the most fun, and she danced so i guess she did OK
Damn i thought ciara had some booty, damn atleast she thicke, but its an OK performance
Im suprised i think Ciara did a great job. Maybe not compared to the other performances but compared to previous performances you can really see her improving.
Shes definatly not the best singer but for overall performance shes great.
Ciara did a pretty good job. She’s always been more a dancer that just happens to sing, in my opnion. Not taking from her performances or whatever, I just have a feeling Beyonce could’ve killed it though.
HANDS DOWN BEYONCE IS THE BEST ONE TO DEDICATE ANY SONG TO DIANA ROSS AKA THE BOSS……SHE WOULDVE TORE THE HOUSE DOWN AND SHOWED REAL RESPECT TO THE BOSS!!!!
i loved it…diana ross has never had the strongest vocals but she has strong s** appeal and she knows how to connect to her audience….which is the similarity to ciara. great pefrormance. her stage costume was reminiscent of diana’s staging costume for those songs on her concert tour in her heyday…great job ciara…nice tribute

ciara is more of a modern day dianna than beyonce is! beyonce has very strong vocals while diannas where sorta weak!
