I really liked the concept of the show and enjoyed most of the performances – most notably Beyonce and Jennifer Hudson. Usher’s rendition of ‘Singing In The Rain’ was pretty good too.

Beyonce, Jennifer Hudson and Carrie Underwood all sound great. Honestly the best performances of the night. I like how thatgrapejuice omitted carrie’s performance when is was alot better than the others.
Beyonce and Usher was the best hands down….Beyonce was the best choice to open the show. Her voice was so flawless, her make up was flawless and that dark hair on her was amazing. She never looked better. She looked so natural. That Yellow dress was the show stopper for me. So elegant and so classy. She deserved that standing ovation. Usher was on point with every note, smile and dance step. She has shown the world that little hite boy Justin is still a shadow to him. Jennifer Hudson was too loud for that song. I also loved Mary J and John Legend performance.
Beyonce was great, she didn’t over do it! jennifer Hudson was good as slways, these are the only performances that stuck out to me . That Nicloe chick needs to sit her ass down somewhere,WTF?

This is racist! Where are the performances by Carrie Underwood, Elton John and Tony Bennett? Why is most of Chris Brown’s performance cut, and the ending of Mary J Blige and John Legend is cut too?

I love Beyonce performance and she look so beautiful. One of my favorite songs off of The Wizard of Oz.
Although Beyonce has a beautiful voice, I didn’t like Beyonce’s rendition of somewhere over the rainbow. I found it irritating, it was missing the timeless quality to the song, I didn’t believe her when she sang it. Kelly could have projected more of the softness and emotion in this particular song. I Love Jhud, but she really needs to learn to control her powerful voice, and know when to pull back. Usher was nice, the rest were ok.

you beyonce whores need to go suck an egg. she was pitchy, she screwed up the words towards the end, and she truly made me LOL at the very end… oooh, her face! in a nutshell, she was average. far from the best performance of the night; it was bland and if she wasn’t going to put any beyonce funk on it, then she should have made sure to sing it perfectly. which she didn’t. ’cause she’s not really a vocalist. if you notice, her best peformances aren’t when she’s wearing a pretty gown. and i love how you beyonce whores read twenty comments, read two that aren’t singing beyonce’s praises, and then turn around and claim that everyone is hating. go sit down! and take beyonce with you; we all need a break. give us a year, B, damn!

Beyonce was boring and predictable, way too much vibrato.

She’s not perfect so I don’t know why everytime she performs her fans act like she’s the best thing since sliced bread, come on. That woman doesn’t even no we exist. And everyone is entitled to his/her opinions so stop acting childish when someone doesn’t agree with you.
Since Mariah has an album coming out at the beginning of the year, they should of had her do it. Her voice has the emotional content to pull it off and she’s been classically trained. That song is not meant for someone who uses a lot of vibrato.

I can not believe all of the hate for a talented girl like Beyonce. Of course she cant sing like Whitney and Mariah, but neither one of them can sing like Aretha or Patti,…so does that make them not talented….Every gerneration produces vocalist, and sorry to dissappoint alot of you, beyonce is one of our profound singers of this generation. not only is she a gifted singer, she has the ability to light up and shut down a stage with her unique performances. SHe is a true entertain, and with the trash that we have out now, no one can sing live and dominate a stage like she can in this generation…..
