The ladies of Danity Kane continued along the promo trail for their new album ‘Welcome To The Dollhouse’ by stopping at BET’s 106 & Park yesterday. Upon being prompted to give an acapella rendition of their hit ‘Damaged’, the girls proceeded to absolutely nail it. As a group, IMO they are vocally (and in every other way) really head and shoulders above their competition (i.e. Pussycat Dolls…remember them?).

Yes I call that real singing. All 5 girls are vocally strong. And Yes EnVogue was the HOT back in the day. Notice I said “back in the day”. We are talkin about TODAYS girl groups. They are truly the best group out. I dont wanna say girl group, because their are not a male group that comes close either.
I think they are overrated vocally, album is okay but cant see the stand out longevity tracks. Also, how are they head and shoulders above the competition? all other girl groups have either had their album out or are in the studio. Mentioning the p**** cat dolls is stupid considering they are in the studio and haven’t had a track out in over a year, they could come back and blow it out of the water!

I luv these girls!! They are all great singers n dancers…n Diddy was smart dropin their album now cause they don’t hav any other girl group dropin albums n sellin records so now they can get to the top…n though i prefer PCD/DC these ladies hav good sounds for European countries…

luv the group. luv dawn especially. you can’t compare them to envogue because that’s pop v. rnb but not since envogue/tlc have we seen a true girl group with all equal. vocally those girls could duet with envogue with no problems
as for the album i liked the first better but think this one was the sound they were going for. 10x better than pcd for sure
well dawn sounds like toni braxton and can give ciara a run for her money on the dance floor. deadly combination. she could go solo any day
Danity Kane is cool but nothing special. Saying that they are ahead of the pack isn’t saying muc considering there are no other girl groups out.
i love them,but they aint gonna top destiny’s child….they not gonna come close to doing that…still love them tho

They really sound great with or without music. It takes a lot of discipline to do that. I wasn’t really feelin’ them on the first album, but their sophmore effort is bangin’. I must admit I think if they can hold it together, they could be the real deal. Since Destiny’s Child, no real girl group has stepped up to fill the void…They could be the next big thing. I have to say that they have won me over as a fan.

What the hell do you guys listen to! i ain’t talking abut no destiny’s child, go back to en vogue, xscape, SWV! these are real groups… before that the jones girls, mary jane girls! danity kane are average… some of these songs could have been sung by girls aloud. some of you guys need a bit f musical history!

I hate “Damaged”, but I love the acapella and those girls NAILED it right there. Their album is hotness. Hopefully Diddy will act right and give it a European release. They could be BIG over here. DK are easily the baddest girl group around.
