R&B five-piece Day26 have hit #1 on the Billboard 200 with their self titled debut, knocking off their Making The Band co-stars Danity Kane in the process. Bad Boy’s latest signees shifted a respectable 190,000 copies of their LP first week, besting the girls’ sales of ‘Dollhouse’ – which sits at #4 after shifting 89, 000 copies in its 2nd week. {Source}

Yall are sleeping on Day 26. That album is FIRE. Got me going, FREE, oh, I can name so many more. I like Danity Kane and all but Day 26 album is a beast! Don’t sleep on it cause of the reality tv stuff, they are the truth!
umm day 26 sold wayy more then that…..diddy is paying someone obviously because he favors the girls, i know for sure that they sold 254,000 copies…….but ok wateva…..im happy for the boys nonetheless…..and their cd is HOTT!! no r&b is touching their album right now and thats just how i feel about it….keep sleepin on them if you want to.
I agree that Day 26 sings better than Danity Kane. Everyone in Day 26 can sing. Only a couple of girls in DK can sing.

day 26 consists of 5 ppl and they had the push of mtb4 for like 3 whole months before the album drppeed. janet only had a week or to when they started playing her adds so dont go there
i admit that the girls need more work on there live vocals but they sing pop music wat did u expect for their voices to sound like amy whinehouse on damaged! i dont think soo! day 26 is boring i love girl groups, sorry ijust dont get excited about boy bands!!

i don’t get what any of yall are saying..i was going for day26 i THOUGHT they album was going to be better…buh its not i sat here and listen to the whole day26 album and i only like bout 3 songs..i listen to the first 8 of danity kane album and they def. have the better album..i dont care what anyone says even though i hoped day26 woulda won buh oh wellz. BUY BOTH ALBUMS.
