R&B star and American Idol (Season 3) winner Fantasia returned to the Idol stage yesterday to perform on the elimination show. Sporting a new highlight red ‘do, she gave a rousing performance of ‘Bore Me (Yawn) from her self-titled sophomore set. Check it out:
For all her hollering and ‘church wailing’, I must say that Fantasia ‘brought it’ and then some. Even with the song not really being catered to that audience, she still managed to engage the studio audience. Definitely anticipating the new album. Good stuff.

Did anyone else see Simon’s face at the end of the performance? haha… I thought Fantasia brought crazy energy to the stage… It reminded me of a ghetto, more hood Beyonce performance.
that performance was classic soul. I can’t STAND Fantasia’s voice but that performnce she summoned Aretha an Tina and it was fun. that’s how it’s supposed to be done. The song sucks, but i wanted more.

its really stupid how some are trying to make a mockery of what was really a great performance IMO .. so much energy and spirit … this girl gets down when performing …
I loved the energy and how she tried to get the crowd involved.A Very Aretha/Tina/Beyonceish show. The Idol crowd is pretty dull so Tasia was def a change. I do have to say though that I didn’t understand a damn word but I was feeling the performance. Do you Tasia and shake off the haters.
tasia did her thing! a white lady at work mentioned that seeing tasia on idol the other night ‘scared her’… WTF – it’s obvious that WP aren’t used to true Soul performers. I thought that she did a great job; she’s naturally a loud soulful singer. Chick said that she was scared of tasia cause her hair was read and tasia screamed a lot… however this chick loves some rock in roll… WP are a trip! tasia it was a great performance!

Fantasia great entertainer. She brings it all the damn time.
I was scared when Fantasia performed…I’m black n it scared me lol! Girl cannot perform I can’t undertand what the hell she was saying. She is a prime example of an American Idol winner that isn’t a “House Hold Name” when she first came out.
These past couple of years…Fantasia has been showing her ghetto side alittle bit too much and that’s making me no like her at all. Take Speech Classes okay because all of that yelling is not doing it. Its said she can’t sell records. Her last album barely sold 500,000 copies. Ashamed for a ghetto chick lol!
