Though Solange’s new single ‘I Decided’ was released digitally a while back, it is this, the Freemasons remix, that will be released as her official first single over here in Europe (it is being touted as the ‘Part 2’). Having worked their magic with Kelly Rowland’s ‘Work’ earlier this year, the ‘Masons really came through for Solange; I’m actually liking this mix more than the original. What’s more, considering the music that is dominating the charts on this side of the pond, Solange may just have a chance of doing big things on this side of the pond also.Hit or Miss?

It’s a hit over the original one..the freemasons is better.
Though the make-up is on hell of a miss.
Am I listening to the wrong link or something??? Because The original version is waaaaaaayyyyy better than this one. More orchestration does not make a better sound all the time. The Freemasons don’t understand the relationship between melody and harmony like the Neptunes do. This version is also a little (almost unnoticeable) off-beat with the vocals. The Freemasons need to take a seat in a corner, cuz the Neptunes’ version (soulful and funky) rules.
I’m sorry. but she sound like she’s trying to be like the surpriems. Don’t like.

But the Freemasons Mixes are ok, just not for me. I don’t think they do the original justice…
I actually like her material way better than her sisters last album!!! Go solo!!!! B need to try and get a duet with you!!!!

I like the music, but it’s a little loud to me. Kinda drowns out her vocals….
