With Ashanti’s latest studio effort ‘The Declaration’ in US stores today, the singer stopped by BET’s 106 & Park to promote the project yesterday. A real interesting interview, I must say. She comes across very well. Ashanti really brought her ‘A Game’ this go round, so I’m hoping she does well with this record.

She’s so annoying.. .a certified has-been. The album is already receiving negative reviews (no wonder), her first 4 ‘First Singles’ were all flops…she couldn’t get one single song on the itunes chart, how can anyone expect this record to do well??? She’s set to debut with 30.000 copies in the first week. I really think she should stick to nelly’s d*** and stop trying to be relevant.

I will never understand why this girl recieves so much negativity and hate from some of y’all. I’m still trying to figure out what she did so bad, other than put out albums. Nobody is forcing you to look at or listen to her. You guys have to be some sad and pathetic individuals for human beings. Assuming you’re grown adults. If you are, it’s even more pathetic of you guys. Dang, there musit be some miserable people with no lives out there.

I will never understand what she did so bad, for you all to be this disrespectful and hateful toward her. I will neevr understand what the vendetta is against this woman. It’s one thing to not like certain artist music. It’s another when you hate them for no reason at all.

Either way, Ashanti is obviously doing something right. She’s been in the game 7 years now, and dropping her 4th/5th album. Y’all are still hating, mad and throwing salt on this girl.

i’m not an Ashanti fan..but I’m feeling her answer how she said it’s about more than her & that she does it for the people she employ..looks like she took that big girl pill, & grew up & not really into what Hollywood or others say

I mean she is Ashanti!! She is a bigger than ever international superstar. She got to have hataz. As you can tell though she go people dat got mad love for her. Did you see the crowd reaction when she is around. How can you not like this girl!!!

I mean in other words, f*** the hataz. She got millions and don’t care what people have to say. Ashanti is the most realest R&B chick in the game. She is very humble, blessed, and s***!! She has an amazing album, “her best to date”. THe only reason people hate on her is becasue they on bandwagon and Ashanti is not a bandwagon artist. She stands in her own lane and do her.

That’s why I like her. And as far as negative reviews goes, the only one dat matters are the legit ones and not these other blog sites dat is run by one person!! Most of the legit reviews have rate this album b/t 3.5-5 so dats great!! Keep doing you Ashanti and keep dat positive attitude!!

OK, I’ll admit, I’m am Ashanti fan. Concrete Rose was a great album, Chapter II was meh, and of course her debut is perfect. I’ve downloaded the Declaration, and I’m not really feeling it right now, but whatev. She’s really doing her promo thing, and I’ve always liked her personality, so she’s pushing it well, I just wish her material was as good as her last album. The audience was real hype though, and she is on her grown woman now.

I can’t believe people hating on her laugh. First it was her hair with the blonde streaks, then they hating on her cause of her make-up and now the laugh. You people must be pathetic, this sounds like some elementary BS. I don’t know of Ashanti like that but some of you are dispicable human beings. Really, is this what goes around in your neighborhoods.

^^^^ I totally agree and I’m glad she put her laugh on “In These Streets”, good look Ashanti(annoy the Hell out of them), secondly make that a single, please. Why should have to change everything about her to sell records. If you don’t like her so be it, move on to who you do, atleast that’s what I do, I don’t bash them.
