Jennifer Lopez gave her first performance since giving birth to twins back in February at the MUZ Awards at Moscow’s Olympiysky Stadium this past Friday. Check out her performance below, a medley of her past hits ‘Jenny From The Block’, ‘Ain’t It Funny (Remix)’, ‘Love Don’t Cost A Thing’ and ‘Get Right’:
Though her career is in dire need of a resuscitation at present, there’s no denying she’s one hell of a performer; her rendition of ‘Get Right’ reminded me of how baffled I was at why the song wasn’t as big as it should have been -a great track, which she nails performance-wise each and every time. Random tidbit: it really seems like just yesterday that J. LO ruled the music scene. I guess it goes to show, you’re only as big as your last hit – Rihanna and co, take note.

Seriously, the lasting power of certain artist are not as redundant as they use to be. Seriously, this isn’t a big secret and it’s not just Rihanna who is suffering, it’s Janet and Mariah and Ashanti(who use to actually have No.1 singles. Anybody remember those days?) Rihanna is not the only female artist in the world who has remade her image and sound. Best believe that she copied that stuff from other people who have done it way before her. Look and all. Somebody needs to do their homework.
i love Rihanna as much if not more than the next guy. I’ve been a fan since A Girl Like Me loved that album. But saying that RIhanna has a powerhouse voice is just ridiculous i have not heard Rihanna belt out the high notes she has a pleasant voice but she aint no Mariah. At hear peak she can’t rival Jlo in her peak. The woman at a point in time was the most talked about Celebrity. No 1 single, album and movie at the same time RiRi can never do that. Besides JLO can still out perform Rihanna anyday she should only be so lucky to be compared to JLO.
